Behind the beans 🥼🌱 Meet Pippa Vogel, our food technologist specialized in cheese and other plant-based applications. She has a diverse background in food science. After studying at HAS, with a focus on bakery and product development, she continued her studies at Maastricht University. Here she learned all about how the body works. 🧠 After this, she followed a master’s degree in food technology, during which she did her first internship at Cosun R&D. After her internship, Pippa decided to continue her career at Cosun. She has now been working for Cosun for four years, almost two of which at Cosun Protein as an application specialist. ✨🥼 As an application specialist, Pippa focuses mainly on developing dairy alternatives, such as: milk drinks, cheese, cheesecake and ice cream. Currently, Pippa is busy with the development of hybrid cheese. 🧀 What Pippa likes most about her job is the combination between research and development. Fun fact: Pippa is also active within the FNV union Femme Force, where she advocates for more equality for women in the workplace. 💪 Questions about plant-based diary alternatives? Behind the beans 👩🏼🔬 Meet Celine Cantineau, our food technologist specialized in yoghurt and other plant-based applications. With a degree in Food Technology from HAS, Celine’s career started in bakery roles. 👩🏼🍳 But when the opportunity to work with plant-based ingredients came up, she was ready for a new challenge. Celine's journey began with the development of a plant-based yoghurt, which led to various other applications. She initially focused on functionality testing and perfecting textures in both yoghurt and baked goods. Currently, she is also working on hybrid products. 🥛🌱 🎶Fun Fact: Celine loves singing along with the radio in the lab! 🥼🎤 And her favorite memories? Thank you for an incredible Fi Europe 2024!🤩 We had an amazing time at Fi Europe, and we are thankful to everyone who stopped by our booth. Here are some highlights from the event: 🍹 Happy hour at our stand: We enjoyed delightful drinks with our customers, featuring a pop-up mocktail bar and a DJ. 🍽️ Cosun menu: our fava-licious soft serve, vegan fruity yoghurt, favafit protein pancake, and Tendra taco were a hit! 💬 We received fantastic feedback on our menu and our chef's creations. 🥤 High protein RTM shakes: Our new 'PLNT PWR' RTM high protein shakes were well-received by everyone who tasted them.
