🌲 Uncover festive fashion trends this holiday season in our latest Know Your Christmas report and dynamic European dashboard! ✨ As the holidays draw near, we're taking a look at one of the most iconic pieces of holiday attire: the Christmas jumper. Across the Baltics, among those surveyed about jumper ownership, Lithuania leads at 30%, followed by Latvia at 27% and Estonia at 20%. We asked the same question to our team members in the Norstat Baltic offices. About half of our colleagues in Estonia and Lithuania own Christmas jumpers. But in Latvia, enthusiasm runs even higher: 5 team members already have jumpers, and another plans to get one soon! 🎅 🤶 A little greeting from their Christmas dinner in Tallinn, led by Birgit Aasmäe, Linda Ezera, Antanas Nasutavicius, and Mats Hermanrud. Recently, we shared the 2024 holiday special edition of Norstat Quarterly Data: Know Your Christmas! ✨ In the new Know Your Christmas report and European dashboard, you can uncover the Christmas atmosphere among our panel members: 🌲 Did you know that some people wish it could be Christmas all year round? This sentiment is most common in the UK, where 24% of people we asked said they would like that. Meanwhile, for those who think Christmas is a nice and cozy tradition, Lithuania takes the lead, with 57% of respondents agreeing. Our project manager team leaders in Norstat Norway - Silje Hermanrud, Silja Fagerlund Lindsø and Ida Aagaard Ryberg - feel the same. How does an election halfway across the world affect YOUR wellbeing? 😀 😩 😮 Across nine European countries, people’s happiness, life satisfaction, and optimism shifted depending on the outcome of the U.S. presidential election – mirroring trends seen in the U.S. The findings come from a recent study by the Stockholm School of Economics, conducted in collaboration with Norstat, examining how the U.S. presidential election impacts not just Americans, but Europeans too. The research highlights a fascinating emotional connection between Europeans and American politics, showing how global events shape wellbeing, trust in institutions, and even civic behaviors. We’re proud to have partnered with SSE’s Center for Wellbeing, Welfare, and Happiness and Professor Micael Dahlen to deliver high-quality data for this study.
