W wieku 14 lat Joanna zorganizowała swój pierwszy pokaz mody, nieświadoma, że lata później będzie prowadziła Project Runway w Polsce. W 2010 roku wieloletnie zainteresowanie Joanny projektowaniem w połączeniu z jej duchem przedsiębiorczości zaowocowały uruchomieniem marki La Mania. You will find timeless, elegant pieces, served with a twist and refined for today’s modern woman. Uniquely, it is offered at a price point within means. Creative director - Joanna Przetakiewicz was born and raised in communist Poland. Surrounded by grey, she, like her mother and grandmother before her found escapism in fashion. They were passionate about art and craftwork and used their skills to design their own wardrobes and that of friends. At the age of 14, Joanna staged her first runway show, unaware that years later she would be launching and hosting Project Runway in Poland. In 2010 Joanna’s lifelong interest in design combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, lead to the launch of La Mania.

The AW24 collection wasn’t only photographed in Milan but is also informed by the city’s unique blend of taste, sciura glam and industrial chic. The new collection was captured by Zuza Krajewska at the iconic Villa Borsani - the 1940s modernist gem. This very refined space became the perfect backdrop for LA MANIA’s AW24 collection, which is inspired by the elegant power-dressing of the 1980s (think “Dynasty”) and Milanese street style. For the autumn-winter line-up, LA MANIA’s creative director Sandra Kaczorowska focused on investment pieces that will never go out of style and that fully capture the essence of the brand's universe: feminine, timeless and delivering uncompromising comfort. It is a collection that does not follow trends but offers quality building blocks that can be freely put together, styled and worn - well beyond one season. The collection’s hero-pieces range from iconic outerwear to statement-making eveningwear. CRYSTAL, the over-sized, long faux fur coat in sand-beige exudes elegant nonchalance as well as delightful comfort. Outerwear in the AW24 collection focuses on perfect classics such as the menswear-inspired ADELINE long coat made from certified, high-quality Manteco wool. For fans of a more casual look, the brand has in offer TROY jacket in aged, vintage-y leather and the fluffy-textured MATTHEW jacket, designed in the spirit of easy-going, soft minimalism. The recent LA MANIA collection plays with contrasts and textures, hence the feminine must-haves such as EVANS skirt with draped, floor-sweeping binding or CASEY denim mini-dress. We’re in Milan, so the Italian heritage of sartorial tailoring inspires suiting. This season, LA MANIA is proud to unveil its first collaboration with Manteco - the Italian company that has been producing woolen textiles since 1943, starting as a small recycled wool manufacturer and then evolving into the most renowned manufactory in the high-fashion industry. Manteco produces 100% of its wool in Tuscany, in a transparent and eco-friendly way. Manteco Wool is much more than just a label; this certified wool embodies the highest quality standard, is the result of sustainable production, and is the ultimate testimony of the Italian textile heritage know-how. Keep your eyes wide open as this autumn, LA MANIA's AW24 campaign hits Warsaw – the brand’s home-city. The hero image from our latest campaign featuring CRYSTAL faux-fur coat (this season’smust-have outerwear staple) has been reimagined into a monumental mural painting. Situated in the very heart of Warsaw, it’s now gracing Mokotowska street. Mokotowska is Warsaw’s signature street known for historic elegance and fashion-forward crowds, so it’s utmost pleasure for the brand to visually integrate with the location’s chic ambience. The painted mural isn’t only a photo-perfect backdrop, but as well a proud LA MANIA moment that shows the brand’s deep bond with the ever-inspiring city.

We are pleased to unveil LA MANIA’s latest cover moment. LEGACY trench coat - one of AW24 collection’s key outerwear pieces and best-sellers - graces the cover of PANI (November 2024 issue) and is worn by actress Katarzyna Herman. Lensed by Filip Zwierzchowski, the monumental silhouette of LEGACY strikes with a commanding, yet feminine presence. On a summer evening in the heart of Warsaw, LA MANIA celebrated the launch of SS24 collection. Entitled VIVA LA MANIA, the line-up – inspired by the timeless charm of Italian dolce vita – was unveiled in attendance of the brand’s friends and muses at Sobański’s Palace. For a night, the refined, elegant residential villa located near Warsaw’s Royal Route was transformed into a lively scenery thanks to Ania Witko’s vibrant arrangement. Grand, romantic hydrangea bouquets were gleaming in the candlelight, while the guests – treating themselves with an assortment of selected Italian charcuterie – watched the VIVA LA MANIA collection video in the garden. The open-sky cinema gave the whole scene a chic, Fellini-esque ambience. LA MANIA celebrates life – and all of its pleasures.
