🎄 With Christmas around the corner, teams across the business have been coming together to celebrate the festive season! Here's a glimpse of how some of our teams have been celebrating: WMS 📊 The whole of WMS came together and celebrated the upcoming festivities face to face, which was a great opportunity for colleagues across the country to connect. Commercial & Performance 👨🏫 The Commercial & Performance Team kick started their Christmas celebrations with catchups from all of the sub teams – Resi & Small Business, Metering, Operational Performance & Insights, and Commercial Product Strategy. The wider team brought everyone back together for an afternoon playing mini golf, and wrapped up their festive day with a team pizza night. EIT 👩💻 EIT celebrated with a festive gathering where colleagues could enjoy good food and celebrate their achievements over the past year. Net Zero Strategy & Policy ☀️ Net Zero Strategy & Policy held a day of activities and talks, including bringing in speakers from NESO, to talk about the structure and scope of the organisation, & EDF Trading, who gave an insight into the current landscape and future priorities. This was followed by a cooking class and rounded off with a festive dinner! This was also an opportunity for everyone in the team to meet Josh Buckland, the new head of NZS&P, who will be taking up his role officially in the New Year. Small Business 👥 The Small Business team visited the AWS offices for future planning sessions, before celebrating with a classic Christmas quiz and giveaways, adding a fun twist to the festivities! We wish everyone a happy holiday season and look forward to embracing exciting opportunities in the year ahead! 🎅🎄🤶 #Christmas #team #collaboration #achievement #holiday #TeamCelebrations #YearEndReflrections #EDFCommunity

🤖 AI & Automation meet up for an Immersion and Game Day!🦄 Our AI and Automation teams came together in our lovely Brighton office for a two-day event filled with learning, collaboration, and a bit of friendly competition! The event was a mix of technical immersion, hands-on learning, and team-building activities. We also came together for some festive fun in the evening in Brighton! Day 1: Immersion into AWS Bedrock The first day was an Immersion Day focused on AWS Bedrock. Our teams had a deep dive into various Bedrock tools, such as Agents, Flows, and Knowledge Bases, with a blend of informative talks and hands-on labs. The goal was to expand our knowledge on how to leverage generative AI to drive automated, smarter, and more efficient solutions. Day 2: Game Day! On day two, it was time to put our new knowledge to the test in a friendly and competitive Game Day! Teams were formed to tackle challenging tasks using AWS Bedrock’s capabilities, as well as various other AWS services, testing our problem-solving and teamwork skills. It was a really fun and unique way to apply what we'd learnt the day before, and generate innovative ideas that we can take back to our teams! Thanks very much to Owen Eszeki and Peter Conway for organising the day, and to Edward Branch and Alberto Crescini at AWS for being such wonderful facilitators! #AIandAutomation #AWSBedrock #GenerativeAI #TeamBuilding #InnovationDay
