From the exciting appointment of Zoe King as our new CEO, to welcoming new advisers into our network who have chosen Vision as their professional home, and the expansion of our incredible Head Office team, this year has truly been one to remember. Last Friday, our team gathered at the head office for our annual end-of-year staff meeting, and it was a memorable one! Hosted by our very own Sam Fidock and Callum McGovan, who brought festive cheer dressed as Santa's elves, we were delighted to be joined by representatives from Young People Cornwall, a charity close to our hearts. Young People Cornwall have been championing the youth of Cornwall for over 50 years; offering many different youth initiatives, support networks, and projects to involve young people all over the county struggling with mental health challenges, family and/or school struggles, social exclusion and many other issues. This year, instead of our usual Secret Santa, we decided to participate in Young People Cornwall's Secret Santa campaign. Our team came together to provide gifts for underprivileged young people in Cornwall, bringing joy to young people in need. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and to Young People Cornwall for their incredible work.

Our chosen charity at the Vision annual conference earlier this year was The Brain Tumour Charity. Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Anoushka Baker MCIOF (Dip) from the charity at our Falmouth head office for a cheque presentation. We’re thrilled to announce that we raised an impressive £2985 in support of this worthy cause. The charity is committed to accelerating research for brain tumours and making a life-changing difference for every person affected by this condition.
