🌀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. There are two main types of sales: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 🔹 Selling to someone within your network. 🔹 This process is often quicker because the buyer already knows your business and its risks. 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 🔸 Selling to someone outside your network. 🔸 This process takes longer, as external buyers will need time for due diligence and compliance reviews. Start preparing your clients 18 months before the sale. When clients understand the transition plan, it ensures a smoother process and strengthens client retention, something both you and your buyer will appreciate. Taking the time to guide your clients through this change can give you greater peace of mind as you transition into retirement.
