If you know…..you know 🕰️ Let me introduce you to my late grandads watch. This watch holds the obvious significance of my reminder of him. I wear this watch for special occasions and today is one of those days! As we travel to todays ESTAS Awards, regardless of the result it feels like a reward for showing the resilience we have this year! Social media can sometimes be a smokescreen for all the good stuff but this year has required resilience: 1. Letting people go 2. Relocation of offices 3. Market Uncertainty We step into the back end of the year in a great place: 1. Two brands flourishing - entering markets we could only dream of last year 2. Core values running strong 3. Supportive Culture 4. Exciting news in the pipeline So whatever happens today, we celebrate our resilience full of optimism for the future! Safe in the knowledge that I always have this watch on my wrist and Rudyard Kiplings famous poem ‘If’ in my ears. Let’s go! 💪🏻🏡🏆 Home Financial NW Ltd Evolve Commercial Finance

It's been a journey filled with peaks and valleys..... Starting an entrepreneurial adventure with grand plans right before the pandemic of the century has made me grow as a person and taught me an incredible amount. How do you pivot your business model to finally become profitable, shortly after having to let go of 10 employees on short notice? How do you celebrate the year's best order just five days before realizing that a container from China will be delayed by a month? How do you gently explain at home that the weekend trip is canceled because we missed a setting on the website, causing 20% of all orders during our all-time high week to receive the wrong products? BUT, the fact that we have now delivered to over 95% of all postal codes in Sweden means that GLACIAL is present in almost every neighborhood. ✨ It's been fantastically fun but, as you can tell, insanely challenging. GLACIAL has now finally gained a more stable footing, and I am thrilled to welcome Petra Ringström Oxhamre as the incoming CEO this fall. My own responsibilities will change somewhat, but my 100% focus on making the world a better place by eliminating single-use water bottles remains. Welcome, Petra!

Little Moons isn't superhuman after all! A surprise departure for the respected CEO Mike Hedges . First wobble since a viral TikTok post sent the company stratospheric in 2021. Co-founder Vivien Wong picks up the reins as interim CEO while the company headhunts a new boss. Word is the split is amicable and a joint decision between the sibling founders and Hedges. But after only two years in the job, the departure will raise eyebrows, especially given it will mean Hedges walking away from any future big pay day when the business is inevitably swallowed by a global CPG player for a huge price. Head of international Thomas B. - who joined at the same time as Hedges following the L Catterton investment in 2022 - is also leaving the company. And if that wasn't enough, Little Moons has also started a consultation process with an unconfirmed number of employees as it weighs up shuttering the two London factories ahead of the move to the new all-singing all-dancing site in Kettering. The 30,000 sq ft facility in Park Royal was only opened in 2020! But that was before demand skyrocketed, so maybe it wasn't built to cope with the kind of growth since experienced? The business employs about 350 staff, with more than 250 in manufacturing. But Little Moons wouldn't be pressed into disclosing how many staff are affected by the potential plans to consolidate the footprint. I imagine they'll be offered the chance to move to the Kettering site, but how viable is that for many? Little Moons' rise may be unstoppable but not without the odd bump or two along the way. https://lnkd.in/eDfxvwh8

Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire: The Community is Burning Brightly at Assembly Last night was one of those rare moments where everything just clicked. I had the privilege of attending Assembly, hosted by Carson Hood, Tony Kadillak, Mitch Monson, and the incredible lineup of sponsors below. The evening wasn’t just about gathering a group of talented, creative people in one room—it was about building real, honest connections. And for that, I want to say thank you. There’s something special about an event where the focus isn’t on professional pretense or transactional networking. Last night, we dropped the usual guard and just connected. Conversations were raw, real, and meaningful. That’s the magic of Assembly—it creates a space where people can be authentic, share their stories, and discover new opportunities, not just professionally, but personally. In today's challenged industry, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and lose sight of what really matters—community. The kind of community where we engage deeply with one another, where we build relationships that last beyond the moment. That’s what Assembly brought to the table last night, and it’s a reminder of how important it is to keep showing up for each other. These are the moments where the best ideas are born. My involvement with Social Department is a perfect example. Through many conversations like the ones I had last night, I uncovered a real need in the market that hadn’t been addressed. By staying open to honest, sometimes tough discussions, I discovered an opportunity I might have otherwise missed—leading me to the platform Jonathan Verk and Aaron Adler were building and ultimately to our launch last week. It’s in these genuine exchanges that real opportunities emerge, moving us forward both individually and as a community. So here’s a heartfelt thank you to Carson, Tony, Mitch, and all the sponsors. You’ve created something truly special with Assembly. It’s events like these that remind us of the power of real connection. Looking forward to the next one. Assembly's Amazing Sponsors! Team Bro’Sis: Working alongside my sisters 👩👩👧 If you had asked me about a year ago, I would probably never guessed that today I would be working alongside my sisters. But life is sometimes unpredictable and opportunities open up when you never thought they would. Let me tell you how great the first two months have been 🙌 💼 Working alongside my sisters has been an enriching experience. There's a unique bond and understanding that comes from growing up together and now collaborating in a professional setting. It's not just about shared DNA; it's about shared values, vision, and a commitment to a common goal. 🌟 What strikes me most is how our diverse career paths have converged, leading us back to our family business roots - Commercial Printing. Lisa started her first job in HR at an insurance company, Nina studied commercial law and I used to work for your typical Berlin Start-up. Despite pursuing different passions and ventures, we've found ourselves drawn back to the very foundation that raised us. 🤝 The level of mutual respect and trust among us is truly unique. Decision-making is not only efficient but also of the highest quality. We challenge each other, push boundaries, and ultimately, elevate our family business to new heights. 🎤 Funny enough we call our group chats Bro’Sis, inspired by the former German TV pop band. Members were musicians like Ross Anthony and Giovanni Zarella. Who still remembers their song “I Believe”? Millennials memory unlocked in 1, 2, and 3… #FamilyBusiness #SistersInBusiness #Teamwork

That’s a wrap for Bastion’s 2024 Conference! For this year’s conference our team from across Australia flocked to Perth in the wild west for three days of team building, strategising, keynote speeches and of course karaoke. It has been a big year at Bastion and it was great to share this with all of our valued team members. Thank you to Crown Metropol for hosting us – what a venue. There was a lot of activity over the three days that we’ll share over the course of the next few weeks. Our conference commenced with a cruise on the Swan River where we held our finale for the Bastion Shark Tank. A number of innovative Research and Development (R&D) ideas were pitched to our judges in a fun way to the amusement of all. The winning idea is yet to be announced and will be funded by Bastion for development in Australia at our Design Office in Adelaide (stay tuned for more details). Following our Swan River cruise the conference commenced Friday morning with a Survivor team building challenge immersing our team in activities that tested our creativity, collaboration, and communication in fun and unexpected ways. The room went from being full of people with stern protect the tribe laser focus to laughing as a number of unexpected outcomes unfolded. Congratulations to the winning tribe! Then it was down to business with presentations on what we stand for, our achievements/challenges for the year and what does Bastion look like in 2029. At Bastion we’re a values-based company with a crystal-clear vision on what we stand for and where we’re heading. This was very apparent from the presentations and also the engagement from our valued team members. We then had a question and answer session with the executive promoting honest and active feedback as well as transparency in leadership. We as a company believe in actions and outcomes over words and have demonstrated our commitment to transparency this year by releasing our pay structure to our employees and through our open and honest dialogue within the team. Following an insightful and thought-provoking day we broke to prepare for our Gala Night with Keynote Speaker Mark McGowan and speeches from our not for profit of choice Invisible Injuries. 📸 Click the video for highlights from Bastion Shark Tank and Day 1 of our conference! #StayTheCourse #Teamwork #AnnualConference #TeamBuilding #ProfessionalGrowth #Transparencyinleadership
