🎉 Stand with Crypto in the UK goes to the House of Commons! This week, Stand with Crypto in the UK and Steven Bartlett showcased the Best of UK Blockchain Entrepreneurship.  We had inspiring pitches by founders building on the blockchain and reactions from the founders and CEOs of Outlier Ventures, Outward VC, KR1 plc, Animoca Brands, and Fabric Ventures, moderated by the impressive Samantha Niblett MP. Fantastic to hear from the Investment Minister Poppy Gustafsson and Chair of the Select Committee for Science, Innovation and Technology Chi Onwurah MP on the opportunities web3 and blockchain technology can bring to the UK economy. Katie Ramsey mc’d a lively session hearing from the founders of major web3 companies in the UK Nick Cary - Blockchain.com, Usman Ahmad - Zodia Markets, Hina Sattar Joshi - TP ICAP, Stephen Newnham - Follow SuperteamUK and a highlight hearing from Naomi Metzger (11 x British triple jump Champion) on how she is funding her path to the Olympics in LA on Farcaster (which gives creators the power to own and earn from their content). Prof. Nikhil Vadgama, Dr. Francesco Pierangeli, and DLT Science Foundation Chief of Staff Juan Ignacio Ibañez, had the privilege of attending the Best of UK Blockchain Entrepreneurship event at the House of Commons. Hosted by Coinbase and expertly organized by Tom Duff Gordon and Katie Harries, the event brought together key stakeholders from the Stand With Crypto In The UK community which are driving innovation in the country.
