I’ve been working with The Monty Bojangles Co and Sally Fenton since 2022, and there’s something to be said for those longer-term working relationships. Not only do you get an in-depth understanding of the brand, products, target consumers and messaging, but also for the team, ways of working and their gold-tier coverage goals. Sally and the entire team at Monty Bojangles are a pleasure to work with, and as expected from such a creative and innovative brand, they have some really exciting plans in the pipeline for this year, which I can’t wait to get stuck into. We did it! The first EVER Monty Bojangles Charity Concert was a tremendous triumph! A packed wall to wall audience enjoyed world class performances by Mica Paris, Gary Williams, Ben Holder, LP Swing Orchestra and supported by Trinity School Croydon’s Big Band and Choir. The night culminated in a world exclusive medley arrangement for all 60 performers: The Monty Bojangles Flying Christmas Spectacular, arranged by the legendary Callum Ow! Most importantly of all, thanks to the volume of ticket sales as well as remarkable donations received before during and after the event, The Monty Bojangles Co Ltd exceeded our fund raising target of £10,000 for Home-Start Croydon. It truly was a Christmas celebration to remember!

Christmas arrives in Croydon!🎄 Earlier this week, we headed to our Croydon Town Hall where school children sang carols and turned on the Christmas tree lights. The festive afternoon was attended by our Civic Mayor of Croydon, Cllr Kola Agboola, and spirits were high as we celebrated the lead-up to Christmas! As a local company, we were delighted to attend and celebrate with our community. Of course, we couldn’t arrive empty-handed... So, after the carols were sung, we handed out well-deserved chocolatey truffles to the choirs alongside staff and parents. We came away from the day feeling very proud to be part of such a wonderful, warm community.

Our Christmas media has gone live with Waitrose & Partners and our Truffle Collection Tubes are looking fabulously festive! 🤩 Leading this media campaign has been brilliant, and I loved working with Waitrose & Partners to bring it to life. ❄️ The Monty Bojangles Co showed up in Waitrose Weekend Christmas Treats edition, in print and digital, with a weekly readership of 1.6 million. ⭐️ Waitrose & Partners are running a Social Media Ad throughout December showing off our wonderful range! 🎄 And we have targeted Citrus Ads so that our chocolatey truffles are unmissable online this festive season. This week I spoke at the Develop Croydon "Fresh Perspectives" Conference at the Fairfield Halls, discussing how to inspire business investment into our town. It was exhilarating being in a room with such energy and enthusiasm for Croydon! I haven't felt so at home in a long while! I am incredibly proud to be a Croydon Boy, and for The Monty Bojangles Co to have our Truffle HQ here in the Cronx. I passionately believe the identity of Croydon can be transformed if we emphasise the vitality of our local entrepreneurial spirit, the strength of our self-belief, and the wealth of future business leaders in our colleges and schools. Thank you to Bonnie Ross and Amy Crawford for the opportunity to be a part of the day 🙏 It was also wonderful to be able to represent Home-Start Croydon in person alongside Babs Frost and Derek Terrell. What a tremendous platform for growing awareness for our local Home-Start young family and children's charity.

Monty Bojangles can confirm: Sainsbury's HQ has a sweet tooth! 🍫   We've just wrapped up a hugely successful day at Sainsbury's HQ, where we sampled our deliciously (un)shareable range of chocolatey treats with hundreds of colleagues to raise wider awareness of our brand.   It was fantastic to chat to so many of you about our chocolatey truffles and other delights, and we truly finished the event on a high - with not a single truffle left over!   Thank you for having us Sainsbury's, it was a pleasure 😻
