Updates

  • It’s been 15 years since I first appeared on screens as a contributor and broadcaster. It’s been an absolute pleasure to add value to over 1,000 programs and news events across the UK, USA, UAE, and beyond. I still feel like a “newbie,” likely due to the incredible talent I have the joy of working with—established names within our media. I’d like to thank all the brilliant production teams: you’ve kept me safe in high-vis on factory floors, helped me smile when the call-time was 3 or 4 am, and the viewers will never know the lengths you go to for the magic to happen! And to the on-air talent, particularly those who have gone out of their way to thank me, encourage me, and offer warmth and support under such incredibly tight timescales. Thank you so much to every single person who has taken the time to send me a message when you’ve seen me on screen—and for (most of) the comments, feedback, and thoughts. Here are my top three tips if you’re considering lending your voice to media: 1. Know your topic. I prep for every single interview, even if I “know” it. 2. Help bring your topic to life. Stay on track, but think of the audience and make it appropriate. 3. Be on time, be courteous, be presentable. The crew may be stressed or time-pressured—work with them to help. Later this year, I am hosting a day event in the UK (UAE & USA in 2025) to help you enhance your media profile. Details and early sign-ups in August—you can register your interest at Hello@hardcastlecollective.co.
