In this episode, we were lucky enough to speak to Kiran Devlukia, the Global Head Electrical & Electronic Integration CoE at Tata Technologies. Kiran runs us through his engineering journey, from humble beginnings in a UK comprehensive school with over 1,000 students to the position he’s in today. Kiran also talks to us about the good habits, and good choices he’s made that have helped fuel his success, including working with Lotus thanks to a graduate scheme. We also look into the gradual shifts in roles that Kiran has gone through, and the valuable experience he has gained through working with so many varied engineering companies. After spending 4 years working on a bachelor's degree in Spain, Lorena kick started her career by working for Indra Systems, designing the Air Traffic management systems. Lorena quickly picked up the technical aspects but moved to a more challenging role after not feeling technically fulfilled. We spoke to Eray CANLI, the Engineering Manager at Volocopter GmbH. Originally Eray studied physics at university, after finishing his degree, Eray moved onto working on a master’s with a focus on the Aerospace sector. This hard work led him to his first career at Andar, working on the electrification of aircraft systems in the Defence and Aerospace industry. This aerospace experience lead Eray to Volocopter, he was in the core team that developed some of their first aircrafts. As Eray contributed to the flight of two different blocks of aircrafts at Volocopter, all of which were compliant to EASA standards. As well as his career, we also talk about some of Erays tech driven side projects, such as working with the blockchain, using 3D Printers, and the fun of breaking down and rebuilding electronics.
