I had a fantastic three days at the Aviemore IUCN peatland conference, representing SEAD Artists and discussing our tremendous work in the Paludiculture space. I enjoyed speaking at the MRV workshop and taking a fantastic trip to the Cairngorm Mountain Area to see a unique, high-altitude area of restored #peat hags. After a long drive to Leeds, I have a lot to follow up on; thank you to all involved, and I look forward to continuing our discussions. As part of our ongoing work with the SEAD Artists we continue to research ways in which we can help #regenerate our #wetlands and #peatlands using the #XAG #spreading #drone. Last week we were with Jenny Rhymes from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) spreading high volumes of #Biochar last week. Biochar is commonly used for #soil #ammendment and #Carbon #Sequestration. All this is possible through the Paludiculture Exploration Fund which is a Natural England funded project. https://lnkd.in/egjxDyU4 Robert Pearson Andy Sproson

There is so much to say about the efforts made within by all SEAD Artists and their companies @AutoSpray Systems with Andy Sproson, Robert Pearson, Scott Dowell, DronePrep with Gareth Whatmore and Karina Nasretdinova, alongside Aerofirm Ltd with Owen McAree and support from Aleksander Kowalski and ARPAS-UK through Mohammed Hasan. Successful technology developments in hardware, software still to be released - the more obvious spraying sensation and the diligent work needed to develop mutilple seeding methods along some of the visualisation techniques as we gear up to scale. Jim Milner, Judith Stuart, and many others to mention in future posts. Get in touch as our team becomes bigger and stronger to support a step change in what it means to offer drones within Agriculture and Paludiculture.
