Our OT Support Team members, who assist our OTs with their clients rehab programme and support with achieving goals, have benefitted greatly from their training programme this year. They have covered a wide range of topics including cognitive & executive function, managing memory issues, working with the family, Independent Living Trials (ILTs) and cognitive & social communication difficulties. Not forgetting the excellent in person training day with plenty of hands on and equipment demonstrations. Our Client Community Christmas party was a real team effort from organising and planning the party, budgeting for and buying the food, preparing and cooking the lunch, setting up and clearing away, sorting games and activities and organising a raffle - our clients pulled off a fantastic festive event enjoyed by clients, associates and other MDT professionals. Our client community not only provides opportunities to socialise and try out new skills, it supports clients with their rehab goals, is confidence building and provides a safe space.
