The final TT1st Friday post before Christmas and our last post this year! Have a fabulous break, enjoy time with those you enjoy and recharge those batteries. If you find Christmas a difficult time, reach out to somebody or use the organisations listed here: https://lnkd.in/eqjnu_Ad thank you MARY FRANCES TRUST, this is a great resource 👍🏼 Take care and see you soon. EDIT: I forgot to add our opening hours over the Christmas twilight zone of time 🫣 ! Desks will be manned, emails will be read, phones will be answered—except for the 25th and 26th of December, and 1st January, when we’ll be off enjoying the holidays! #occupationaltherapy #personalinjury #functionalrehab #tt1st

🎄 It’s that time of year again! 🎬 Serious questions were being asked at today’s daily team catch-up! It got me thinking… what’s your number one Christmas movie? 🎅🏼✨ A timeless classic, a festive comedy, or something a tad different—we’d love to hear! Drop your answer in the comments below, and let’s see which film gets the most love. Die Hard wasn’t a team pick… I’m the one with the social logins. What's your favourite John McClane quote? Keep them clean 😉. Have a great week, keep warm and stay safe at those Crimbo parties. #occupationaltherapy #tt1st #christmasmovies

🏆 Huge Congratulations to Fran Yates – TT1st Associate of the Year! 🏆 TT1st are delighted to announce that Fran, was awarded Associate of the Year 2024 at last week’s awards evening. The competition was fierce, but Fran just edged it. She consistently goes above and beyond, delivering exceptional functional rehab, collaborating with the MDT and making a real difference in the lives of clients. Her commitment to empowering clients embodies the Think Therapy 1st values. Fran’s ability to turn challenges into success is a testament to her skill and drive—and we couldn’t be more proud to have her as part of TT1st network. Here’s to Fran—thank you for your incredible contribution and for raising the bar of Specialist Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy. 🥂 🎉 I haven't managed to catch up with Fran since the awards evening but she did have this to say about her nomination "This would mean so much to win this award. There are so many amazingly talented SROTs out there who have so much experience, so to win this award is just such an achievement." Unfortunately, Fran couldn’t make the awards evening, so we have no pics! On that note we will get all the winners and pics out in the next couple of weeks, once we’ve had a chance to sort the many pictures of the evening. Have a great day. #occupationaltherapy #functionalrehab #personalinjury #tt1st

If you're planning on drinking alcohol as part of your festive celebrations this month, think about how you'll get home safely. Remember any amount of alcohol impairs your driving, so if you're going to drink, don't drive. Enjoy the festive fun safely 😊🎄

Aimee, this is brilliant! Huge thank you to everyone that came along and Keystone Crescent for a fantastic evening, Di and the folks there are genuinely a lovely team 👍🏼 . Tomorrow we will share all the winners from the evening and maybe a pic or 2. Have a great week. #occupationaltherapy #functionalrehab #personalinjury #tt1st
Wow, what a week! Two Christmas doos, eight train journeys, and a continuous cycle of packing, unpacking, washing, and re-packing. Needless to say, I’m completely wiped! That said, it’s been a rewarding few days. I finally had the chance to meet some brilliant occupational therapists in person after so much remote collaboration, and I connected with in-house teams, which made the experience even more special. Now it’s time to practice a bit of *occupational balance*! This weekend is all about self-care, family time, and (hopefully) a well-deserved lie-in. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻
