Origo Advent Calendar: 13th December 2024 has been another record-breaking year for pension transfer times! The Origo Transfer Index shows that pension transfer times are at their lowest since the end of the pandemic in 2021. Data for the 12 months to the end of September 2024 shows that the average transfer time through Origo Transfer Service was 11.9 days, a decrease of 15% from January 2023. Anthony Rafferty, our CEO says, “Transfer volumes are up but transfer times are down, a combination which is fantastic news for the industry and consumers. Our data shows that average pension transfer times are continuing to fall, in a period when the Origo Transfer Service is continuing to handle year-on-year increases in transfer volumes.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/eTjaDted

Origo Advent Calendar: December 11th 2024 marks the 35th year of Origo bringing companies and their customers closer together 🤝 Our transfer Tracking service has allowed organisations such as Canada Life to provide “a better service to brokers, advisers and their clients”. Retirement Line is among the first intermediaries onboarded with Canada Life to use the service. Director of Retirement Line, Mark Ormston states “The ability to track individual annuity cases through live updates means customers can be kept informed much more easily and efficiently without having to lift up the phone to the annuity provider”.
