340 people have spent time at Medlock Court since January, being supported and reabled to return home. It's great to read feedback like this and testament to the amazing team and integrated approach with partners Oldham Council & Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust Thanks to #teamMedlock ahead of the busy Christmas / New Year period.

🗣️ "My Mum recently spent a couple of weeks at Medlock Court. We would like to thank you and your team for an amazing service. She was very well-looked after from day one. The care received from all the staff there was the best! She is registered blind as well as having poor mobility. She was treated with respect and patience, and as a family we felt she was in the best place to recover from her accident. We would like to thank everyone at Medlock, and make it known we appreciate everything you did for my Mum and everyone else there. Keep up the great work." 💬 Some service feedback to share with you this Friday afternoon! This from someone who's Mum was recently supported in our Residential Enablement Service at Medlock Court. #MadeInOldham

  • Today we said an emotional goodbye to Annette, as she bid farewell to the MioCare Group after over eight years of a quality job, very well done. From her interview all that time ago, right up until her last afternoon here, she was fully in tune with our mission of supporting people to get the most out of life. We're so grateful for all the work. Enjoy the cards and pressies Annette, from colleagues and people we support (that just about fit in your car, at a push!). Thank you, and best of luck in your next steps. 🧡💚💙

  • A joyous occasion today, as our MILES@Ena Day Service opened its doors for a Christmas Fair! 🙌 Joined by people we support in fellow services, MioCare Group colleagues, as well as friends and neighbours from the community, we had a ball. A big thank you to everyone who attended and had a hand in making it happen. We're fully in the festive spirit now! 🧡💚💙

  • We're kicking off our #ChristmasJumperDay fundraising and celebrations at Old Mill House! https://lnkd.in/d9-amJwF Carers, residents, family and friends had a party earlier this week, wishing each other all the best for the festive season. Not only did everyone dress for the occasion, but new #ExtraCare neighbour Dorothy made and sold some knitted gonks too, helping raise over £80 for Save the Children UK. We'll share updates throughout the day as folks across the MioCare Group add to that brilliant start. If you would like to join us and donate, click the link at the top of this post. Have a great day! 🧡

  • Sisters (and MioCare Group colleagues!) Lisa and Tracy have recently been helping organise collections for Waterhead Rugby Club's Christmas Appeal 2024. And wow...alongside their teammates at Medlock Court and in our Supported Living Service, what a job they've done! A few words from Lisa... 🗣 "My son plays for Waterhead and it's a great club with an amazing community spirit. When we heard about the appeal we quickly got to work, and people have been so generous. We've now donated loads of presents and food hampers. We want to say a massive thanks to everyone who's contributed something to make a child smile this Christmas time." #MadeInOldham
