This week has been full of festive cheer! 🌟 We kicked things off with our quarterly sales meeting, followed by our Winter Warm-Up event, and wrapped it all up with a delicious Christmas lunch. Our Winter Warm-Up was a chance to thank our community for welcoming us into our new home in Ledbury. We invited them to enjoy nibbles and drinks, Christmas carols performed by one of our local primary schools, and some festive fairground stalls. Our Christmas lunch was a time to bring fun and festivity to the workplace and thank the team for their dedication and commitment to the business this year. We also wished one of our BDMs, Francis Smith, farewell as he embarks on his next chapter - thank you for your contributions, Fran! We’re very excited to announce that Briza Net Zero has been chosen to heat and cool some of the first new homes at Welborne UK, a new generation sustainable garden village near Fareham, Hampshire. 🏡 The Briza S Net Zero model, chosen for its slimline, elegant design and exceptional energy performance, will provide heating and cooling via Welborne’s ambient water-source heat network – the largest of its kind in the UK – developed by Last Mile Heat in collaboration with Rendesco. The sustainable energy network is projected to cut CO₂ emissions by 90% compared to gas boilers, saving over 272,000 tonnes of carbon in the first 25 years of operation and providing residents with ongoing energy savings. Oak Academy in Bournemouth is turning up the heat on sustainability! 🔥 This net zero carbon in operation secondary school will stay warm thanks to 110 energy-efficient Jaga radiators, including the Strada Hybrid and Maxi 2020 LST Hybrid, designed to provide high heat outputs with heat pumps at low flow temperatures. Static versions of these models will also be used to heat spaces with lower heat requirements. We’re proud to be collaborating with Kier Construction on this project, funded through the Department for Education’s School Rebuilding Programme, which supports the transformation of 500 UK schools with the highest condition need. Designed to meet the DfE’s latest output specification requirements, Oak Academy will be net zero carbon in operation, with air source heat pumps and a bio-solar roof featuring photovoltaic panels.
