We got wrapped up in the festive spirit with an evening of Christmas wreath-making led by Bunches of Sussex and supporting our charity partner YoungMinds.🎄 Did you know wreath-making dates back to the 7th century? Although it was the Victorians who turned it into the Christmas decoration we all know and love today. Shout-out to Abigail Widdup for organising such a fun event! LGBTQ+ Network - Pride Happy Hour. Thursday evening saw the 4th event in our launch of the LGBTQ+ Network at First Central. Colleagues came together in Haywards Heath, to toast the network, share stories and laughter, and bring community amongst our colleagues. We're starting small, but are very excited to see these events grow in 2025 and beyond. What a fantastic week it has been! We’re proud to announce the launch of our colleague-led network: the LGBTQ+ Network at First Central. 🌈 ✨ Throughout the week, our colleagues have come together to connect, share, and celebrate through a series of virtual and in person events: Monday: Pride in Pages and Pixels The LGBTQ+ Book, TV, Podcast, and Film Club hosted by Martha Tierney and Callum Rowland. Tuesday: Pride and Pour Coffee Morning A chance to “espresso” yourself over coffee, hosted by Morgan Nik Harris. Today: Baked with Pride A delicious bake sale supporting the Terrence Higgins Trust and World AIDS Day. Thursday: Pride Happy Hour A casual afterwork gathering to connect with our LGBTQ+ Network and colleagues. Friday: Pride Perspectives A panel discussion hosted by Andrew Flewitt (MCIPD), featuring insights from Ali Carter, DipESG, Ben Thompson, Devon-Louise Cooper, and Martha Tierney. We’ve loved seeing the enthusiasm and participation from our team, and today’s Baked with Pride event was the perfect way to bring everyone together... #DEIB #WorkplaceInclusion #Pride

🎨 Creativity flowed at our ‘Paint & Sip’ event last night! 🖌️✨ We swapped screens for canvases at our Haywards Heath and Manchester offices, bringing colourful penguin and woodland scenes to life. It was the perfect way to unwind, connect and get creative outside the usual workday. Shout-out to our Culture Lead Lauren Harding for organising, and to John from The Paint Club, and Toni and Shannon from Paint Away Events for leading the sessions.
