About us

Driving Experimentation Excellence in the enterprise. We help companies innovate faster through experimentation using our frameworks and a best in class platform that communicates learnings from testing and experimentation to the C-suite. The platform, a workflow and experimentation program management platform enables practitioners to track their experimentation program in detail whilst the C-level have complete visibility and transparency enabling them to make better business decisions. This is Experimentation Ops - the next evolution of experimentation in organizations. Want to drive Experimentation Excellence in the your organization? • 2024 was an amazing year for one of our customers with Marcello Pasqualucci at the helm. It’s great to see how a clear vision and leadership coupled with the Effective Experiments platform drives growth through #experimentation https://lnkd.in/eFKvDHdx

Neuroscience junkie, AI explorer, CX expert, accomplished team builder and fascinating speaker (apparently)

As the year wraps up, it's a great time to reflect on some of the milestones we’ve achieved and the lessons we’ve learned. Celebrations: We successfully ran 200 experiments across five markets. Our win rate exceeded expectations—though year one is often rich with low-hanging fruit. The team evolved into a data-driven, impact-focused powerhouse, always eager to improve. We significantly boosted CVR across all markets (details confidential, but trust us, it’s visible!). Learnings: Data-driven tests win: Tests grounded in data, research, and insights had almost double the win rate of those based on intuition or guesses. Complex vs. simple tests: While win rates were similar, complex tests (50+ lines of code) delivered an average uplift 4x higher than simpler ones. Learning from losses: We captured 20% more insights from losing tests than winners—measuring this was intentional, and it proved a point. Collaboration matters: Involving squads early in ideation and keeping them engaged turned blockers into opportunities. A huge thank you to our tech partners AB Tasty and Effective Experiments for their support and a big shout-out to the team for making it all happen: Vidya Gopal, Vivek Kolappan , Manish Shah, Moina Ersad, Souptik Datta, Yash Kukreja, Swapnil and Ravi Theja Kopparapu . Here’s to an even better year ahead. See you all in 2025!

  • #Experimentation without governance and guardrails is chaotic and doesn't deliver business value. This is because the outcome of experiments run without governance are unreliable and untrustworthy data. But what is governance? 🤨 Governance refers to the establishment of policies, processes, roles, and responsibilities that ensure the consistent, efficient, and strategic execution of experimentation programs. It provides a framework to manage all aspects of experimentation—from ideation to execution to analysis—ensuring that experiments are conducted with rigor, transparency, and alignment with business objectives. It ensures consistency and removes any element of doubt whether an experiment is valid or not.

  • The biggest concern business stakeholders have about #experimentation is "can we trust it? How do we know the results and insights are valid and trustworthy" 🤔 🧪 Running experiments is the easy part but running it with rigor is harder. As an experimentation leader, how do you ensure the tests run by your #cro team was run reliably and the data was trustworthy. 🥳 Enter --- Experiment Health Scores. In this video, I want to walk you through a challenge that one of our prospective customers approached us with and how we helped them overcome it with the Experiment Health Score feature.

  • There is a data integrity crisis in #experimentation and here's why.. When the data of an experiment is manipulated, knowingly or unknowingly, without full oversight, it nullifies the value and usefulness of that experiment. This phenomenon has a name - HARK-ing - hypothesizing after the results are known. The pressure to always be winning i.e successful tests with always winning variants creates an environment where #cro and #experimentation teams must win to show that they are delivering value. Goals are cherry picked, metrics are not fully reported on, hypotheses are changed, and more all to make the narrative favourable to portray the test as a winner. It's all too easy to do especially if a large organization has multiple teams operating in a decentralized way without proper governance and oversight.

  • Velocity without a strong focus on rigor and quality will cause your #experimentation program to go in the wrong direction. Your experiments are only reliable if they are valid. #cro #productops #experimentationops

Founder @ Effective Experiments. I help Enterprise Organizations build and scale their #experimentation programs the right way with Experimentation Ops - a framework and platform designed for innovation minded orgs.

"We ran 500 tests this year" - Impressive but I always ask this follow up question ..... How reliable and trustworthy are the insights from all those 500 tests? The answer can tell a lot about whether the experimentation manager and the program they run is providing the business any value. What makes an experiment reliable & trustworthy? It checks these boxes - It followed all the processes and procedures. There is consistency in the way the idea was prioritised and the experiment was planned. - The experiment has a strong hypothesis - It has a clear measurement protocol. The goals and metrics related to the hypothesis are documented - All relevant details such as sample size, MDE etc are calculated and documented. - The controls and variants are well defined and documented. - After the test is concluded, all the metrics are logged. - (THIS ONE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT) No data is changed, tampered with, excluded and nothing new is added in. The experiment has no data integrity issues Unfortunately, its all too easy for experimentation programs to have data integrity issues and this poses a problem for the senior management who are expected to make decisions from potentially faulty data. Trust in experimentation is a big challenge in organizations and good #cro #experimentation teams have to fight an uphill battle. Want to know how we solve this problem at Effective Experiments? Leave a comment - show me how and I'll dm you the details.

  • What the #clevel and leadership expects #product teams to deliver and the reality of it is quite different. We call this the product-process gap. It’s the gap between a company’s potential or desired use of product management practices, approaches, and frameworks with reality. Oftentimes, organisations don’t actively invest in creating the right conditions for their #productteams to thrive Read more about the product-process gap in our latest blog post.
