💖Today, we’re fondly looking back on our Almasika Breakfast with Catherine Sarr at Bergdorf Goodman, which fittingly took place on International Women’s Day, March 8th. 🛍 It was an honour to host an incredible group of trailblazing women, including Nancy Chilton, Alexis Bennett, MBA, Marie Genevieve Cyr, and Sarah Clary. Our panel discussion delved into career paths, needed changes in the fashion industry, and women who have inspired us along the way. 💍A heartfelt thank you to the amazing jewellery team at Bergdorf Goodman, Bridget Mitchell and Sabrina Carotenuto—this event wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Playing the 'Cassandra' takes a whole new meaning #BoldWoman - Cassandra Grey, the founder of luxury beauty retailer VIOLET GREY, has reacquired the company alongside investor Sherif Guirgis. This move marks a significant moment after the company had been previously sold to FARFETCH, a luxury fashion platform, in 2022. - VIOLET GREY was founded by Cassandra Grey in 2012 as a luxury beauty brand, known for its expert-curated product selection. The company was initially acquired by FARFETCH to expand their beauty range in 2022. - However, Grey and Guirgis repurchased the company, suggesting a strategic shift or re-focus on where it originally came from. This reacquisition shows Grey’s ongoing enthusiasm and commitment to maintaining VIOLET GREY as holding a distinct place in the luxury beauty market. #BusinessOfFashion #LuxuryBeauty #BoldWomen #BoldMove #VioletGrey

What to Expect versus What to Remember: Sustainability at Fashion Weeks 2024… This time of year is a particularly busy period for the fashion industry; yesterday marked the end of the New York Fashion Week and today marks the beginning of London Fashion Week. This year is especially celebrated due to it being the 40th anniversary of the British Fashion Council’s Council London Fashion Week. As a central London-based, PR and Marketing bureau specialising in fashion and beauty, we are excited to see what this week brings for one of the world's creative capitals. Over the course of the next 5 days, over 250 designers and an expected 105,000 guests including key media figures and high-profile celebrities will be flocking to London to celebrate it being a cultural and creative capital. Iconic British brands such as Burberry and Wales Bonner have catwalk slots and many of the shows will take place at the British Fashion Council’s space at 180 The Strand. Keep an eye out over the coming days to see some of the most well-known fashion houses. However, this industry and the events surrounding it are being pressured to answer sustainability claims and at Bebold we prioritise businesses that prioritise sustainable and ethical values. New York Fashion Week has spearheaded this with designers demonstrating their commitment to sustainability through their use of deadstock materials, reducing waste and implementing planet-protective production practices. A brand leading the way at NYFW is the bold Gabriela Hearst whose shows are carbon-neutral and materials are eco-conscious. London Fashion Week is also set to 'go green' and the event has announced "a renewed focus on sustainability, integrating eco-conscious practices and highlighting designers who prioritize ethical production and environmental responsibility". Several designers appearing at LFW are fully committed to sustainability, for example, luxury jewellery designer, Samantha Siu donates a cut of her profits to animal conservation charities and sources sustainable and ethical stones. #LFW40 #BritishFashionCouncil #London #LondonFashionWeek #BritishBrands

Incoming New Brand: Pradier-Jeauneau - Today, we are introducing and celebrating the launch of Pradier-Jeauneau's exhibition in collaboration with artist, Anaïs Vindel, scenographer, Sandra Benhamou and designer, Mathieu Delacroix. This exhibition is the first the pair have hosted in their gallery on the periphery of the iconic Saint-Ouen flea market. - Pradier-Jeauneau's mission is to promote French craftsmanship and design, they do this through handpicking antique pieces ranging from the early 20th century to contemporary times. Furthermore, they have taken inspiration from their surroundings and have utilised this to develop their own small-batch collections. - The exhibition starts today and will remain open until 31st October. The display showcases a variety of carefully curated and commissioned pieces from both Mathieu Delacroix and Pradier-Jeauneau's collections, alongside Anaïs Vindel's artistry, united together by scenographer, Sandra Benhamou. We are looking forward to welcoming them to the UK for their first hashtag #PAD fair in October. #PADLondon #femaleartists #femaledesigners #interiordesign #designerfurniture

Tales of Obsession and Desire: The Invisible Collection's Latest Mushroom - Bravo Les Filles What do women want to bring to creation? 'Procreation' was the answer for centuries, until perhaps the middle of the 20th century - as exposed by the French-speaking Canadian author, Nancy Huston in her 1990 essay, 'Le Journal de la Creation'. What do women want to bring to creation today? EVERYTHING. Highly desirable designs, sustainable practices, and creative collaborations proving that if we want to go further we should praise collaboration over competition. Un grand bravo to Isabelle Dubern-Mallevays, Lily Froehlicher and Anna Zaoui, founders of The Invisible Collection; a B-Corp-certified company who were the first to digitalise the world of artisanal furniture and to offer the most refined repertoire of design and craftsmanship. Another grand bravo to Haya Hizami and Isabelle Townsley, founders of Asseids-Toii and mothers to the iconic Mushroom Stool, established in 2022 and were immediately recognised by tastemakers and forces of change in design. A special acknowledgement to the visionnaire, Eleanor Freya Gregory who accompanied the brand in launching their first-ever deadstock collection last year. Their new range exclusively at The Invisible Collection is made from DEDAR MILANO fabric. Founded in 1976, DEDAR MILANO prides itself on being a 'family-run fabric house...located close to Como'. The dedicated craftsmen at DEDAR MILANO 'combine precious yarns with research into fibre technology' to enhance both style and functionality. #femaleledbrands #luxury #interiordesign #bcorporation #theinvisiblecollection
