  • #AW26/27 #WOMENSWEAR | Theme Preview: #SALVAGE As 2025 comes to a close, Trendhub is looking 2 years ahead to the trends set to shape our wardrobes in #AW26/27.   The AW26/27 womenswear trends reflect a shift towards inclusivity, innovation, and reimagined tradition, paving the way for a more connected and consumer-focused future.    This season, our bigger picture idea "Agelessly Empowered" puts intergenerational relevance in the spotlight, driving branding, marketing, and product development to appeal across age groups with a timeless, covetable charm.    One of our Autumn Winter 26/27 themes, "Salvage", embraces slow, radical fashion with a focus on robust luxury and sustainability. Inspired by alchemy, grottos, and Brutalist architecture, it highlights the beauty of reclaimed, repurposed, and recrafted materials. #AW2627 #Womenswear #Salvage #Autumn #Winter #Trendforecasting #trends #Product #Development #Trendhub_bybda

A CALL OUT FOR RETAIL OPERATIONS Have you ever wondered why some of our best leaders in retail come from an operations background ? Or why more of our leaders should come from an operations background ? Maybe here’s why: They develop and execute strategic plans for retail operations that align with overall business objectives They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure retail strategies integrate seamlessly with other business functions. They conduct regular store visits to assess operations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Their responsibilities extend to overseeing inventory management, implementing merchandising strategies, and addressing operational challenges. And here is the big one for me: They analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. These are the people who are in the stores almost every day. They see and understand the actual customer. While data tells us what we’ve sold, Retail Operations can explain poor conversion rates and offer well-informed opinions about who walked out of the store empty-handed—and why. The most successful operations leaders we’ve worked with understand the customer, the product, and they challenges merchandise planning. They also know the difference between commercial visual merchandising and creative VM. As consultants, having the right people in the room—with diverse skill sets and a team that is open to constructive challenge—enables BDA to respond to briefs with the right product trends, a balanced offer of key essential items, In the right volumes, in the right place, at the right time, and in the right way. Viva Buying and Merchandising. Viva Retail Operations. Viva BDALondon Bespoke. #bdalondon #trendhub #sustainable #productstrategy #innovation.
