Their voices must not be ignored. 💙 This weekend, our CEO Yvonne Tulloch and Deputy CEO Dr Roger Greene joined LBC and GB News to bring these critical perspectives to a wider audience.

Chris Simmons is not only one of the best singer songwriters in the UK, he also has one of the biggest hearts. I first met him over 20 years ago, brought him into my radio fold and encouraged him to write more music. Ten years later and a few months after joining AtaLoss, Chris called to say he had a new single to play me. The talent hadn't faded and he is now based in the same city as the charity. We met and he told me the story of the last ten years. one bereavement after another. The next piece of synergy? His Christmas single 'A Cold December' is about the processing of grief. We agreed a trade. He would attend our The Bereavement Journey (R) course and he would give profits from his CD and downloads after costs to the charity. This week, ahead of our APPG on Grief Support and the Impact of Death on Society, we hosted an important forum in Parliament, gathering leading charities to discuss the Assisted Dying Bill and its implications for grief support. While neutral on the Bill itself, we’re pleased that Kim Leadbeater MP has committed to including the sector’s recommendations should the Bill progress.
