Earlier this year we launched the Drawing of the Year Exhibition in partnership with Affinity showcasing a collection of the best drawings and creative imagery from around the world as part of the London Festival of Architecture. The exhibition was a unique celebration of creativity and featured an inspiring collection of future thinkers with an array of works that push boundaries in visual representation and creative imagery. The showcase included works from hundreds of architects, designers, artists and emerging creative talents supported by Chaos, INFiLED, Coin Street and media partner Dezeen. Set at the iconic Bargehouse at Oxo Tower Wharf on London’s South Bank, the exhibition was the culmination of five inspiring years of celebrating creativity and innovation in architecture, design, and the arts. #exhibition #creative

The Mixed Media Award recognises works produced through the bridging of two or more media methods, which can also include physical and digital media methods; of any typology, view and in any style. The Awards celebrate the very best creative imagery from around the world and have become the ultimate accolade in recognising visual representations from architecture, design and the creative industries. The Drawing of the Year 2024 is in partnership with Affinity Serif (Europe) Ltd. The winner of the Mixed Media Award 2024 is Adrian Lee at the The University of Hong Kong with the drawing titled 'A Speculative Bathhouse'. Anna Pang at Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London was Highly Commended for the drawing 'Rituals of Woven Silk'. Daryln Sia at Taylor's University was Commended for 'Architecture as a Relic'. 'Typography Exterior Perspective' by Gaétan Saraiva and Vittoria Altana at ETH Zürich was Commended. Endrit Marku received a Special Mention for the drawing 'Nakagin Lived' alongside 'Discourse in Deconstructing' by Aleksandar Pilyov at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). The Visualisation Award is supported by Chaos, Chaos Enscape The winner of the Visualisation Award 2024 is Léon Bührer at Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) ETH Zurich for the drawing titled 'Void'. Alvaro Monfort was Highly Commended for 'Tower Viewpoint' and their drawing ‘RED’ was Commended for the Visualisation Award. Henry Aldridge at Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London was Commended for 'The Boston Snow Council - A Seasonal Snow Structure'. 'The Cultural Guilds of Coventry' by Max Bridge and Dimitar Zhelev at Sheffield School of Architecture at the University of Sheffield was Commended alongside Yuanhui Li and Shuang Liang at Jiangnan University for their drawing 'Modular Building Block Group-rent-house For Care'. We attended the Archisource Drawing Of The Year Awards and Exhibition hosted at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower last week.
