👩⚕️✨ Reflecting on International Nurses Day! ✨👨⚕️ As part of #InternationalNursesDay, we're spotlighting the invaluable contributions nurses make to healthcare, including the enhancement of services through research and improvement. Meet Nelly, a community nurse whose Quality Improvement project on soft sign assessment has transformed patient care. “My soft signs quality improvement project has had a profound impact on my career as a community nurse. It has enhanced my awareness and understanding of the importance of recognizing subtle cues and all communication in patient care. As a community nurse, I often encounter a variety of patients and some of whom are vulnerable, and being able to interpret soft signs allows me to provide more effective and empathetic care. Completing my QI project on soft sign assessment has challenged me to work out new approaches to patient care, especially within the constraints of community healthcare settings. This experience has further enriched my practice and has also equipped me with valuable skills that are transferable across various aspects of my nursing career. It has enhanced my clinical skills, strengthened my capacity for leadership and collaboration, and deepened my commitment to providing patient-centered care”. Let's celebrate nurses like Nelly who go above and beyond to ensure compassionate and effective care for all. Thank you for your dedication! 💙 #AmazingNurses #Nurses #Makingadifference #PatientCar
