  • A Sustainable Summer of Music and Reusable Cups 🎶♻️ What a time we had at Lollapalooza this summer! Together, we brought TURN cups to the iconic Grant Park, making a significant impact on sustainability and single-use plastic waste reduction. By partnering with Lollapalooza, we're highlighting that large-scale events can be both unforgettable and eco-conscious. Our reusable cups provided a convenient and sustainable alternative to single-use plastics, reducing waste and promoting a circular economy. • TURN scores a goal for sustainability by partnering with the United Soccer League (USL) to tackle plastic pollution ⚽♻️ Through the USL's Preferred Supplier Program, TURN will equip USL Super League, USL Championship, and USL League One venues with our reusable cup system. This program is a win-win for fans and the planet, offering rewards, convenience, and a major boost to sustainability efforts. By using these cups, fans can score big points for the environment while enjoying their favorite matches. The system rewards fans for their eco-conscious choices, making it a score for everyone. This partnership is a triple threat for sustainability: ⚽ Reducing plastic waste: Fewer single-use cups means less pollution. ⚽ Encouraging reusable habits: Fans are incentivized to use reusable cups. ⚽ Setting a positive example: The USL is leading the way in sustainable sports practices. We invite fans to be part of this exciting initiative. By using TURN's reusable cups, you can help score a goal for sustainability. Let's make a difference together! • 💡 Did you know a complete plastic bag ban cleared in the California Senate? At TURN, we applaud California's recent legislation, Senate Bill 1053, which mandates a complete ban on all plastic shopping bags by 2026. This bold step signifies the state's continued leadership in environmental responsibility. However, as thought leaders in sustainable solutions, we believe there's more to be done. The data speaks for itself. A recent New York Times article highlights a critical issue – the increased use of thicker "reusable" plastic bags, which often end up in landfills just like their thinner counterparts. The key lies in true reusability, not simply replacing one type of plastic with another. Our mission at TURN is to empower consumers with innovative, long-lasting reusable alternatives that minimize environmental impact. California's updated legislation is a positive step, but it's just the beginning. What do you think?

It was fantastic today to see reusable cups all over Petaluma. Starbucks Burger King KFC Target and many local cafes in the City of Petaluma are using reusable cups and have deployed bins across the city to collect all of the cups. After TURN - REUSE deployed with Starbucks in 2023 for a rollout across Napa and Petaluma it is great to see a full city roll-out across multiple locations and a city with bins everywhere. #reuse #petaluma

  • "There is no such thing as 'away'. Things you throw away simply end up somewhere else." - Annie Leonard This powerful statement underscores the reality of our waste problem. While it might seem convenient to discard single-use items, the truth is, they don't simply vanish. They accumulate in landfills, pollute our oceans, and harm wildlife. At TURN, we believe in a circular economy where waste is minimized and resources are maximized. Our reusable cups are a tangible solution to the single-use plastic crisis. By choosing reusability, we're not just reducing waste, we're actively contributing to a healthier planet. Let's challenge ourselves to rethink our consumption habits and embrace a more sustainable future. Together, we can create a world where the concept of "away" becomes obsolete. #sustainability #circulareconomy #reusability #plasticpollution #turn

  • Western Australia Leads the Charge: A Win for Sustainability and Reusable Cups! ♻️☕️ At TURN, we're thrilled to celebrate a major victory for sustainability in Western Australia! As of March 1st, 2024, the state has implemented a ban on single-use, non-compostable coffee cups and lids. This landmark decision positions Western Australia as a national leader in the fight against plastic waste and sets a powerful example for other regions to follow. ⭐ Why We're Excited This ban is a significant step towards reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics. Every year, billions of disposable coffee cups end up in landfills and pollute our oceans. Western Australia's bold move encourages a shift towards reusable alternatives, promoting a more circular economy and a healthier planet. ♻️ TURN and the Reusable Revolution At TURN, we're passionate about providing scalable sustainable solutions no matter what you’re drinking. Our reusable cups offer an alternative to single-use options, empowering individuals and companies to make a positive impacts with every sip. 📈 What This Means for Businesses and Consumers The Western Australian ban presents an exciting opportunity for businesses and consumers alike. Cafes can explore offering reusable cup programs, discounts, or rewards for customers who choose reusability. Consumers can invest in a reusable cup they love, reducing their environmental footprint while enjoying their favorite coffee! ☕️ A Call to Action Western Australia's ban is a significant step forward, but the fight against plastic waste is far from over. We encourage everyone to embrace reusable options, not just for coffee, but for all their daily needs. Let's celebrate this win for sustainability and work together to create a world where reusability is the norm! #sustainability #australia #plastic #pollution #turn
