This week, we've welcomed our newest Engineering Lead, Hugh McColl, to our team! 🎉 Claudia & Eileen (a.k.a "Claudeen") have wrapped up one of their regular onboarding sessions. As we grow, each new addition strengthens our ability to fulfil our mission to connect the world's parts and make it really easy for buyers to find the perfect parts. We believe that onboarding is more than just introductions and paperwork; it’s a critical step in building a solid foundation for our success. Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to immerse new team members in our culture and values and equip them with the knowledge, connections, confidence, and tools they'll need in order to do the best work of their lives. Welcome aboard, Hugh! Your wisdom, knowledge & experience is greatly valued, and we can't wait to see what we all accomplish together. 🚗 🌬

Partly turns 4 today! 🎂 🎉 Four years ago, we set out to solve a painful problem faced by repairers, mechanics and car owners alike - finding the right parts. Along the way, we uncovered costly inefficiencies across the entire parts supply chain, contributing to an unnecessary number of cars ending up in landfills prematurely. As Levi Fawcett often says, this journey "has been more complex than launching a rocket". And he's right. The auto parts industry has remained stubbornly traditional due to a perfect storm of challenges: Industry fragmentation, data complexities and engineering challenges. But now is the ideal time to tackle these challenges: 👉 AI and ML advancements have made these once-intractable problems solvable. 👉 Governments and manufacturers are increasingly championing a sustainable economy. 👉 More importantly, we've managed to assemble exceptional individuals who truly believe in our mission to connect the world's parts. If we succeed, the impact will be significant: more cars staying on the road for longer, and increased value across the entire supply chain. We're proud of our progress, but there's still much to do. Join us in revolutionizing the auto parts industry. https://lnkd.in/gRUNKj_d #Partlyturns4

🎓 Calling all interns/graduates for our 2024 programme! 🎓 Real projects. Real challenges. Real impact. 🚘 We've always done things a bit differently at Partly, so why would we treat interns any differently? Here, there's no such thing as 'internship work'. You'll be diving straight into everyday challenges, collaborating with our global team and working on real-time technical problems, as if you're already a permanent hire. 🏁 We don't hire interns unless we intend to give you a full-time position at the end. We mentor, challenge, and grow you. 🏎️💨 Ready to hit the track? Check out our 2023 cohort experiences below and hear how they impacted Partly. We've been quiet on LinkedIn. At the start of the year, we set ambitious, almost insurmountable targets and have since been keeping our heads down, executing silently. That laser focus has paid off. We’ve made monumental progress: ✅ hit our key milestones. ✅ significantly moved the needle on our mission ✅ signed a cornerstone customer. 🎉 🍾 🎉 🍾 Yet, there’s so much more to do. We’ve got loftier challenges ahead and are looking for talented, driven people to join our mission. If you want to.. 👉 make an impact on an important mission 👉 own part of what you’re building 👉 work alongside the best and brightest ..find out more here: https://lnkd.in/gRUNKj_d

Thanks for having us, WDCC - Web Development & Consulting Club! It was great to meet so many students who were eager to learn and listen. 🎓 Feeling audacious? If you're a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student or recent graduate, check out our internship(s): https://lnkd.in/ez3372PP
Josiah Bull and I had the pleasure of speaking at the WDCC - Web Development & Consulting Club Uni Society night. See below for some key takeaways: I got the chance to speak to some very talented engineering students and, I hope, provided some value by offering crucial interview techniques, networking tips, and personal branding strategies in the networking event post presentation. I also enjoyed geeking out over Jo's talk as he discussed the complexities of data standardisation and shared his incredible growth journey over the past year. At Partly, we support the next generation through sponsorships, workshops, and events with various uni societies around NZ. If you’re a 2nd, 3rd, 4th year student or recent graduate, check out our internship(s) here: https://lnkd.in/gRT8PwMC Applications are still open! #WDCC #UniSociety #Networking #InterviewTips #TechIndustry #ProfessionalDevelopment
