Key Responsibilities: As the Head of eMobility Solutions, you’ll develop and execute our eMobility Solutions strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives. You'll lead a high-performing team focused on expanding EV infrastructure across NZ, including charging networks and fleet electrification. This role also involves collaborating with government bodies, energy providers, and EV manufacturers to drive the future of transportation. You'll oversee the planning, design, and installation of EV charging stations, ensuring all projects meet industry regulations and safety standards. Keeping up with market trends and emerging technologies will be key as you drive innovation within the company. What We’re Looking For: ⚡ Proven experience in eMobility Solutions, EV infrastructure, or similar roles in energy/transportation. ⚡ Leadership experience managing high-performance teams. ⚡ Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders across the board. ⚡ Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry. ⚡ Electrical experience is a plus but not essential. ⚡ Financial acumen, comfortable interacting with both executives and on-site teams. 🚗 ⚡ Exciting news from the ECL eMobility team at our Auckland depot in Penrose! We're thrilled to announce the installation of a cutting-edge Terra 54 DC Fast charger manufactured by ABB. Our eMobility team designed the scope, coordinated civil works and the electrical installation in-house. Collaborating closely with our partners at ABB, we have commissioned the charger to ensure it meets the highest performance and reliability standards. If you visit our Auckland depot, you can access this state-of-the-art charger via the OpenLoop system, making it easier than ever to power up your electric vehicles. Our GM of Energy Solutions, Steve Collett, has just returned from the Car Wash Show Australia 2024. Despite the rain over the weekend ☔, the event was a success. As you might know, ECL takes pride in being part of the solution to keep your car clean. We’re committed to staying ahead of the curve with new products and innovations. At the show, Steve had the opportunity to explore upcoming machinery installations, see and touch product demonstrations, and connect with suppliers and industry experts. Discovering new products and bringing the latest innovations back to enhance your business is incredibly exciting for us at ECL.

We are so proud to have sent two of our senior managers halfway across the world to Stuttgart, Germany, for the UNITI Expo.  UNITI Expo is the leading European trade fair for the retail petroleum and car wash industries, held every two years for three days. Steve Collett (GM Energy Solutions) and Greg Wos (National Carwash Solution Manager) spent valuable time with our customers and suppliers, building relationships and looking at all the new toys on display.  UNITI expo has become by far the world's most international trade fair for the sector; innovation drivers, associations, and manufacturer presented their know-how on hydrogen, charging, LPG, LNG, CNG, biofuels and e-fuels. Who knows, we might soon be introducing some exciting new innovations in NZ, inspired by the cutting-edge technologies showcased at UNITI Expo.  

We are delighted to have our very own Health Safety Wellbeing Manager, Nina Donaldson, appointed as a WISE Regional Network Lead for Women in Safety and Health Excellence New Zealand as a Regional Lead. We are excited to be part of the Regional Networking Lead Group of awesome Wahine across New Zealand.
