    ✨ Christmas is just around the corner, and we bring you a thematic summary of the past year from the perspective of the logistics department, specifically the Packing department. ✨ 2023 was an incredibly successful year for us! We are proud to announce that in 2023, we processed almost 25 million orders across all our distribution centers. Of that, nearly 20 million orders were processed in Rajhrad alone. So, what packing services were most in demand by our customers in 2023? 🔹 Standard packing: 16.7 million orders (2 out of 3 packages were packed with standard bubble wrap). 🔹 Automatic packing: more than 6 million orders (an incredible quarter of the packages were packed on automatic packing lines, and we expect this share to grow in the coming years). 🔹 ECO packing: 1.7 million orders (7% of the orders were packed without plastic packaging). 🔹 Gift packaging: customers wanted more than 420,000 orders (1.7%) to be packed in a gift box (the highest demand for this service is around Christmas🎇 and Valentine's Day💗). 🔹 Engraving: 70,000 products were engraved with a personalized description. These were the numbers for the previous year. However, we still have two strong weeks left of the year 2024, and we can't wait for the comparison.     Behind Notino´s excellent #CustomerService stand our incredible #trainers! 💙 The holiday season is here, and with it comes a huge surge in demand for our #CustomerCare team. To ensure we’re ready for everything this festive period brings, our training team has done an outstanding job. 👏 What did they achieve in just 9 weeks? ➡️ 39 training sessions (intensive 2- to 3-day courses) ➡️ 227 seasonal reinforcements trained to strengthen our teams and help us manage the holiday peak ➡️ Our capacity grew by an incredible 150 % – for instance, the CZ/SK team expanded from 20 to 59 operators, with similar growth in the DE, PL, and UK teams ➡️ Trainings were conducted across 4 locations (Brno, Český Těšín, Prague, and Žilina), with 1/5 of the newcomers trained online ➡️ Training took place in 5 languages: Czech, Slovak, English, Polish, and Romanian ➡️ 6 trainers and 3 assistants led the charge, managing up to 4 simultaneous training sessions in a single week! Our trainers and the entire Customer Care team are shining examples of professionalism, #team spirit, and the ability to maintain exceptional quality – even under pressure. Thanks to their efforts, our customers will once again leave their interactions with us feeling happy. A big thank you to everyone who made this possible.     From Picking to Leading a New Team: Oksana’s Story at Notino 🚀 When we talk about career growth at Notino, Oksana Fialova is a perfect example of what can be achieved with #determination, skill, and team spirit. Oksana joined us 2.5 years ago as a Supervisor in the Picking Department. Today, she #leads an entirely new department, Internal Quality & Projects, which she built from the ground up. 🚀 Her journey reached a key turning point just 9 months after she joined Notino—she was tasked with creating a #NewTeam, setting up processes, and aligning the requirements of internal stakeholders across different departments. As she puts it: “I was lucky to choose amazing Team Leaders who helped me tremendously.” 🚀 Throughout this journey, Oksana discovered many positive traits in herself: “I realized I’m good at listening and understanding the needs of others.     Notino breaks records once again! 🚀   This year’s Black Friday brought incredible success for #Notino, with customers ordering over 3.5 million packages and up to 7 products sold every second during our #BlackFriday campaign.   In 27 countries across Europe, customers explored a wide range of products, from perfumes and skincare to makeup. The busiest day, Friday November 29, saw an incredible 291,512 orders. More than 500,000 customers visited 26 Notino stores across Europe.   This success was driven not only by a fantastic selection and innovations like the virtual mirror and Discovery Boxes but, most importantly, by the #NotinoPeople 💪 Thanks to their hard work, Notino shipped up to 500,000 products daily during this period.   Everyone involved in stock planning, marketing campaigns, logistics, and customer support contributed to yet another record-breaking achievement.   Looking for Christmas gift ideas? The best-selling products of this year’s Black Friday included Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Jet Set and the viral hit Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara.   A huge thank you to all our colleagues for their dedication, energy, and commitment!     Another #milestone has been conquered – this time in the #NotinoPeople area. 👦👩 Yes, November is that month, when we surpassed the magical threshold of 3000 colleagues in Notino. 🥳 As of now, there are exactly 3027 of us, and this record has been significantly boosted by the #recruitment of 1,325 new members since the beginning of the year. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the recruitment and adaptation of the #newcomers, and of course a big thanks to the remaining 1702 who have been with Notino for longer than since 2024. And a few more interesting facts: ☞ 66% of our total #headcount are women. ☞ We are (at least in spirit) a young company with an average age of 33.7 years. ☞ The podium for the highest number of #NotinoPeople is held by #logistics (991), CX (458), and retail (390). ☞ We have also reduced #turnover by 5 percentage points compared to last year. ☞ The fact we are no longer just a Brno-based company is shown by our numbers in individual countries. While the Czech Republic still leads with 2033 colleagues (67%), Poland follows with 12%, Romania with 11%, and Italy and Slovakia each with 3%. We also have #colleagues in Bulgaria, Hungary, and Austria. ☞ For the season, an additional 1350 people are joining us in logistics through agencies to support our operations in 4 distribution centers.     A strong reinforcement has joined Notino a while ago. And not just any. 🤩   We have a new colleague and member of #NotinoPeople.   A new member of the #Board.   A new #CMO.   And we are more than happy that it´s one and only Michal Vodak.
