🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence! 🎉 Last Friday, August 16th, 2024, marked a significant milestone for SP&G Gallagher Insurance Brokers as we celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Royale Chulan Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Since our establishment in 1974 as a joint venture between Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan (SPK) and CT Bowring Insurance, we've undergone several transformations, evolving into the dynamic company we are today. With the acquisition by Marsh & McLennan in 1980, we became SPK Bowring Marsh & McLennan. In 1999, we transitioned to full Malaysian ownership as SPK Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd, and in 2003, our name changed to SP&G Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd. Most recently, in 2019, we welcomed Arthur J. Gallagher as a substantial minority stakeholder, further solidifying our position in the industry. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering dedication and hard work of our incredible staff, past and present. To our current team, thank you for your commitment and passion that drive us forward every day. We also take a moment to remember those who have left us—they may no longer be with us, but their contributions continue to resonate and shape the legacy of our company. The anniversary event was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter and memories.
