On 18 and 19 October 2024, Perdana Excelsior underwent its scheduled Health Risk Assessment (HRA) and Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) while anchored at Labuan. These assessments, completed by an independent assessor, are part of Perdana’s continuous commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of our onboard teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the marine services sector. HRA and CHRA represent a systematic approach to collecting information from individuals to identify risk factors, provide individualised feedback, and link individuals with at least one intervention to promote health, sustain function, and/or prevent disease. These assessments serve to pinpoint both the physical and chemical risks that could impact the well-being of our crew members during daily operations. Key assessment processes included data collection, a detailed briefing of each process, work observations, and workplace monitoring. Each of these steps helps to maintain a clear understanding of the environment in which our teams operate.
