As Penang’s first Green Building Index (GBI) certified residential development, The Light Collection IV embodies a perfect harmony of sustainability and luxury. Elevated on stilts, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding waterways, the Straits of Malacca, Penang Bridge, and the Butterworth cityscape. This achievement highlights an unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable developments. It follows the success of Saujana Duta, an exclusive hilltop phase in Seremban 2, which earned recognition in the same category at the Malaysia Property Award 2023 and was crowned World Gold Winner at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2024. 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗛 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘐𝘑𝘔’𝘴 𝘙𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 The Shah Alam International Logistics Hub (SAILH) was recently featured in The Star as one of Southeast Asia’s largest green-certified logistics hubs. As both an investor and construction partner, IJM is contributing to the development of this landmark project, helping to deliver a state-of-the-art logistics facility that meets global sustainability and operational standards. SAILH is designed to incorporate key green features such as: ✅ Solar panels to support renewable energy use ✅ Rainwater harvesting systems for water conservation ✅ EV charging stations to support the transition to electric mobility ✅ Energy-efficient lighting and cooling systems for reduced energy consumption Sustainable construction practices are embedded throughout the development process, with green concrete and low-carbon materials used to reduce its environmental impact. This project supports IJM’s strategic focus on sustainable growth and expansion into the fast-growing logistics sector. Once completed, SAILH will strengthen Malaysia’s position as a key logistics hub in Southeast Asia, offering modern, future-ready infrastructure that meets the demands of global supply chains.
