At Green Eco Paradise, we often do product tests to ensure customers are getting the right item with the right quality. Product tests are not about identifying defects but it’s about building a brand’s reputation. Luckily for us, we get many opportunities to attest that we have the best disposable plates for you. The photo above shows our latest two functionality tests. Under product development itself, we have envisioned the types of meals that this plate should support. Firstly, we ladled gravy onto the eco friendly plates and allowed it to rest for 30 minutes. Nevertheless, we do advise customers that these plates are not suitable for soup or gravy on its own, rather ideal with the presence of rice or noodles. This test was to check out the plate being leak proof for the intended time. The test was a success. The second test on the biodegradable plate replicates a standard meal. Despite the presence of several sides and thick gravy, the plate remains sturdy and the rim contains the sauce well. Not forgetting that you are not consuming any fractions of plastic as this plate has zero plastic on it. Medan Renong Food Court has been inaugurated as the first 100% single-use plastic-free food court. Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Penang Island Mayor Datuk Anthony Rajendran and other officials pitched the function. Moreover, the honourable guests also extended their wishes to the food stalls for their positive approach. This step forward sees the importance of preserving a better future and sharing the “Go Green” ideology. Thankfully, this movement will be spread to other food courts too. This efficient move is on par with the vision of Penang 2023, aiming to set up a smart and green state. The event featured our biodegradable lunch boxes, wooden cutlery (fork, spoon and knife), paper straws, paper cups and paper bags.
