We're student engagement, admissions and conversion experts. We make it easy for universities to engage, admit and enrol the right students – through the creation and delivery of quality personalised conversion plans. Since our launch in 2013, we have engaged more than 2m students, resulting in 270,000 enrolments and £3.3bn tuition fee income for more than 70 university partners across the UK and US. Knowing that student success is driven by personal interactions supported by technology, we bring together the expertise, the right people, and the technology to strategically engage every student from first inquiry to enrolment and on to graduation. We work closely with our university partners to achieve this, acting as an extension of their teams to produce outstanding recruitment and retention results together. UniQuest was acquired in 2021 and became part of the Keystone Education Group.

Thank you to Kyle Campbell, Victoria Littler, and Elliot Newstead for hosting such an insightful webinar and highlighting key data and insights UniQuest have to share on this important topic. If you found it useful, we'd love to continue the conversation – feel free to drop us a DM to explore this further.
Fewer prospective students are making themselves known. According to new data from UniQuest, 60% of students who accept a firm place at their chosen institution have done so without engaging in any marketing activity: *They didn’t click on your ads *Haven’t been subject to nurture comms *Didn’t attend your open days or enquire beforehand It’s a pattern: The Student Room reports that 80% of its audience are lurkers - making zero contributions (or asking anything) of its threads. Even UCAS reported that last year, the number of students applying *directly* through Clearing was up 12%. But regardless of their little public engagement throughout the cycle, these students TURN UP. And it begs the question: What if we knew more about how this elusive audience discovered us? What if we could shine a light on the stealthiest of students and engage in ways that made a difference to their study decisions? Joining me for this month’s Education Marketer Live is Associate Director of Future Students at Demontfort University, Elliot Newstead. Elliot brings well over a decade of student recruitment experience and the inside track on DMU’s approach to stealth students, including fresh approaches to ambassador marketing, recruitment fairs and hosting live streams. I’m also joined by Victoria Littler, Chief Commercial Officer at Vepple with a history of engaging (and understanding) hard-to-reach students through forums, community marketing and virtual experiences. Bring your questions and pre-Christmas hopes to the chat. Or just stay in the shadows. Either way, we’ll have something new for you.

A great piece from our CEO, Rachel Fletcher, on the real-world applications of AI in higher education in University World News. If you’re exploring AI for student recruitment, Rachel’s article is a must-read for cutting through the hype and focusing on meaningful outcomes. What are your thoughts on balancing ambition with practicality in AI adoption? #HigherEd #AIinEducation #StudentRecruitment #UniQuest #LeadershipInsights
Sharing my latest article published by University World News, where I dive into the current landscape of AI in higher education. As many institutions navigate the 'trough of disillusionment' with AI, it's essential to carefully consider our approach. While there are ambitious promises surrounding AI applications, focusing on practical implementations that deliver real value is key - meaningful solutions that enhance the student experience and streamline operations - which is where we're spending our time at UniQuest Ltd. In the article, I discuss: - The challenges of applying AI in student recruitment - The value of focusing on back-end processes - Key questions universities should ask AI solution providers to ensure they get the most value from their investments Full article here: https://lnkd.in/efEV3BfY I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this 💬✨ #HigherEd #ArtificialIntelligence #StudentRecruitment #EdTech #Innovation

#UKENIC24 Conference Can't wait for tomorrow! UKENIC 2024 conference - a must for me in any given year. The perfect opportunity to meet with so many important colleagues and trusted counterparts, along with the opportunity to meet and establish new connections also. The UKENIC annual conference has never failed expectations in this regard - perfectly timed in the year (in my opinion) to reflect on the past cycle, whilst looking ahead positively. The challenges placed on education sectors (at all levels of education) currently both in the UK and abroad are a space for new opportunities, ideas and innovation. The challenges are real, but a competitive landscape doesn't have to negate collaboration - on the contrary, this may be more pertinent now then it has ever been in ensuring sustainable and meaningful outcomes. How to survive and thrive maximising every opportunity across the applicant/student journey? If this is of interest, please reach out at conference as it would be great to connect and discuss.
