Digital Marketer| I help business founders to build their personal brands by writing strategic LinkedIn content | Digital Marketer | Tech Events Organizer & Public Speaker

When this headmistress walked up to me and said, “Akweley, thank you for encouraging the young ones to be confident!” …and went ahead to talk about her own daughter who is just shy to show her talent to the world, that was the moment I knew that I was living in purpose. Dear LinkedIn family, Whenever I’m invited to speak to young ones from Primary school right up to the University about the topic of Technology and how they can maximize it, I always take some time to advice them to build their confidence! You can have all the skills in the world but if you lack the confidence to talk about it, someone with more confidence will pick it up and steal your shine. Here’s a short video I did after my Powered Girl talk. Thanks again Jonathan Kennedy Sowah for the opportunity to impart into the lives of these young ones! Repost till a young girl who is just starting their career sees this. #akweleyabenaokai

Imagine a world where the boundaries of reality are stretched, and the possibilities are endless... Today, I'm excited to share that I'll be speaking at the Global Community Lab of the Metaverse Safety Week 2024, focused on "Empowering the New Generation for Virtual Worlds"! As someone who's witnessed firsthand the transformative power of immersive technologies, I'm passionate about ensuring that these innovations are harnessed to uplift and empower the next generation. I saw the impact of virtual reality on my younger students, who struggled with social anxiety. Seeing their confidence grow as they explored virtual worlds sparked a passion in me to make these technologies accessible and safe for all. I'm grateful to the organizers, XRSI and Ashfaq Ishaq of ChildArt, for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with the global community. There is still time to register and secure your spot for this online event.
