Every professional progresses their career in their own unique way. This holiday season, we’re inviting you to join us in making an impact. 🎁 Earlier this year, we launched the first edition of "A Fork in the Road", a guide designed to help job seekers navigate career transitions. It’s packed with actionable insights, exercises, and advice to empower professionals at their "fork in the road." But we believe in the power of collective wisdom. 🌍 The best resources come from real stories, diverse perspectives, and shared experiences. That’s why we’re turning to YOU to co-create the 2nd edition of "A Fork in the Road". 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 • Share the books and resources that inspired you during your career transitions. • Recommend tools, models, or frameworks you’ve found invaluable. • Highlight the missing pieces: What topics or challenges deserve more attention? 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 Your insights could make all the difference to someone starting fresh in the new year. Together, we can create a guide that ensures everyone stepping into the job market has access to the best tools, advice, and perspectives—building a level playing field for all. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 Drop your thoughts in the comments or send us a direct message. Your voice matters, and your contribution could inspire countless others. Let’s end this year on a high note by coming together to create something truly impactful. Follow us for updates and be among the first to see the crowdsourced 2nd edition of "A Fork in the Road" early next year! Wishing you a season filled with joy, connection, and inspiration. At KennedyFitch, we recently hosted an insightful Life Science HR Forum webinar in collaboration with the Swiss Biotech Association. Titled "Navigating Salary Trends and Pay Transparency in the Biotech Industry", this session brought together industry HR leaders to explore the impact of the upcoming EU Pay transparency directive for Swiss Biotech organisations in the context of their rewards philosophy.    The session was co-hosted by Natasha Konstantinova from the Swiss Biotech Association and our partner, Annett Zippel, who has extensive experience advising biotech and pharmaceutical companies. They were joined by expert speakers Rachel Gibbs (Merities Consulting) and Suzanne Courtney and Anna Chabbat (Aon). Here are some key takeaways: 🔹 EU Pay Transparency Directive: Although Swiss organizations are not directly bound by the directive, they will face indirect impacts due to cross-border/EU wide workforce dynamics and heightened stakeholder expectations for fair pay practices. The directive will enforce employees' right to pay information. While not legally binding in Switzerland, organizations should proactively prepare for such requests and align their communication strategy. 🔹 Reward Trends: Compensation strategies vary significantly between large pharmaceutical companies and smaller biotech firms. Larger organizations tend to rely on mature, structured reward systems, whereas smaller firms differentiate through more tailored pay philosophies. In the context of the EU Pay Transparency Directive, conscious planning of salary cycles over the next two years is crucial. Organizations should start now to align compensation strategies with evolving expectations, ensuring transparency and equity are embedded in their rewards approach. 💡 Proactive Measures: The webinar highlighted the importance of robust job leveling, proactive pay equity analysis, and strategic data collection to meet evolving regulatory expectations and market trends. For those who missed this valuable discussion, we invite you to connect with Annett Zippel or any of the expert speakers for deeper insights. Together, let’s champion fair and transparent compensation practices across the life sciences sector! #CompensationTrends #PayTransparency #LifeSciences #Biotech #KennedyFitch #HumanResources #UpliftingTheWorldOfWork
