About us

MindFi's mission is to transform the narrative around mental health in Asia. With our app, we empower people to proactively manage all aspects of their wellbeing: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social. Rather than maintaining a glorified therapist booking platform or another same-old content library, we are laser-focused on creating tools that are culturally-relevant, accessible, and effective. Are you a company or HR leader that is curious about MindFi? We believe that a change in mental health stigma can start from the workplace, and we provide the anonymized data and resources to help you jumpstart such a transformation. We would love to work with you to develop people-centric programs and policies. Just contact us today :)

This week is Mental Health Awareness week. As a 100% remote-working company, it's important for us to prioritize wellness. It can be easy to overlook it, sinking into the same habits and forgetting to check in with how we’re feeling or what small steps we could be taking to look after ourselves. In saying that, our People and Culture Manager Hatty announced our new Employee Assistance Program with MindFi (YC S21), a wellbeing platform designed to help you feel better, reduce stress, build resilience, and boost confidence through a selection of services. For those without a Hatty to guide them, we thought we'd share some other helpful resources to support positive mental wellbeing: ✨ Insight Timer: This app has a large library of free meditations on everything from stress and anxiety to sleep and focus. It includes guided meditations, music tracks, talks, and courses. ✨ Smiling Mind: Developed by psychologists and educators, Smiling Mind is a free mindfulness app that offers specific modules for adults in professional settings. ✨ The Happiness Lab Podcast: Dr. Laurie Santos discusses the science of happiness and shares practical advice on improving mental well-being. Link in the comments! ✨ TED Talks Mental Health: A collection of TED Talks that explore various aspects of mental health from a personal and professional perspective. Thank you to our amazing panelists Tsu Yi, Evone P., Rebecca Jarvis, Tunteeya Yamaoka, & Van Nguyen! P.S. • Your first step to actually (and finally) prioritise employee mental health in your organization: 🌟 Let's make strides in mental health this Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM)! Ditch the surface level "awareness" and dive deep into your employees' wellbeing with our exclusive 4-part series. Each week, gain practical insights to shape a year-round wellbeing program. 💼 Week 1 - "Audit" 📋 Start by Auditing your team's wellbeing. Measure their mood, energy, and life satisfaction using the WHO-5 survey – a trusted and science-backed tool in mental health assessment. Calculate your team's well-being score by summing up the scores from all surveys and multiplying the total by 4. According to WHO guidance, a score of ≤50 indicates poor well-being and suggests further investigation into possible depression symptoms. A score of 28 or below is indicative of depression. Be sure to also gather responses anonymously using tools like Google Surveys. Or you can try out MindFi's free trial to streamline the process – no fuss, no limits. Just meaningful data to guide your efforts. 📊 Link to sign-up is in the guide below. 🔍 Prioritise understanding where your employees stand. Knowledge is key to fostering a supportive environment. Use the guide below to audit your organisation's wellbeing. And stay tuned as we dive into actionable steps next week in our "Act" segment. Let's turn awareness into action! 💪 #employeewellbeing #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth

So we urge you to take action! 📚 Create a year-round plan, prioritise comprehensive support, extend education, and make time to assess your efforts. Not sure how to start? 💡 Follow us for an upcoming special four-part series on prioritizing employee mental health 🌱 First part goes out on 7th May 2024.
