In “Exploring APAC’s Fintech Pathways“ Pitchbook highlights emerging opportunities and challenges for Asian Fintech in 5 reports covering the major geographic sectors: Japan, Southeast Asia, India, Greater China and Australia & New Zealand https://lnkd.in/gubmeA-t In the report Ron, highlights the growing trend of fintech companies from outside the region (especially in the UK and Europe) turning their eyes toward Asia. Ron pointed out that there is still resistance and bias for global businesses to come to Asia because of the general desire to prioritize US revenues. However, Ron notes “we are seeing more companies initially target places like Singapore, Hong Kong, or Australia, where the ecosystems are very mature, more familiar, and have less competition than in the US.
