At Tata Steel, we are committed to responsibly shaping a sustainable tomorrow. In our steelmaking process at the Jamshedpur plant, we have successfully replaced over 30,000 tonnes of fossil fuels since January 2023 by integrating biochar, a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to fossil fuels. As pioneers in the steel industry, this initiative not only reduces our carbon footprint, but also propels us forward in our journey towards achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2045. #TataSteel #WeAlsoMakeTomorrow #Biochar #Sustainability

This year, our West Bokaro Division has set a new benchmark for inclusivity with its “Empowering the Capable” initiative as four differently-abled individuals joined our Security Department as CCTV operators. From accessible infrastructure to tailored training programmes which included site visits, familiarisation with CCTV installations and hands-on control room experience, we ensured that the talented individuals felt empowered and supported from day one. We plan to extend similiar opportunities to differently-abled employees in other departments and remain steadfast in our commitment to achieving 20% workforce diversity by 2025. #TataSteel #WeAlsoMakeTomorrow #EmpoweringTheCapable #Diversity #Inclusion
