  • On Wednesday, #TeamMicrolise spent another rewarding afternoon at the FareShare kitchen! 🍽️ FareShare is on a mission to tackle food insecurity by transforming rescued, donated and homegrown ingredients into millions of nutritious meals every year. This week, we rolled up our sleeves to help prepare and cook meals for those in need within our community 🤝 In just 4 hours, we packed 696 meals and 120 roast chickens, placed 240 food labels, chopped 357kg of fresh vegetables — including eggplants, potatoes, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes — and lent a hand tidying up alongside the amazing Chef Polly 🍝🥦 A big thank you to the FareShare and SecondBite team for welcoming us and for the incredible work you do 🙌 Want to support FareShare's amazing mission?     🗓️ 12 months  🏅 12 races  💸 £1,650 raised so far for Prostate Cancer UK Rewind to last year, when our very own Monika Teresiak set herself the epic challenge of running 12 half-marathon distance races in 12 months, to honour someone dear she and her partner sadly lost to prostate cancer.  Racing through the seasons, with each step raising more and more for a cause so close to her heart, she did it, completing her final race, the Markeaton Park #MoRun. From all of #TeamMicrolise we say: WELL DONE MONIKA 🤩 We're so very proud of her achievement and every donation will do wonders to help those affected by the disease. Though Monika intends to take a well-deserved break over Christmas, she promises she will return, ready to embrace a new adventure for 25/26 - watch this space!     Our charity partner, Transaid, has launched a six-month project to strengthen access to health and road safety messaging at the Mombasa port enclave in Kenya, specifically focusing on commercial drivers.
