We are thrilled to announce that our resident Data Analyst, Dan Walker, has now joined the McQueen team full-time! 🙌 Dan is fondly known as "Dazzling Dan The Data Man" around the office, and is our guru for all things data-centric! Dan has recently completed a Bachelor of Business Analytics (with a minor in Finance), and works as part of our Special Operations Team, ensuring our internal data-handling processes are as efficient, accurate and secure as possible, and our strategic tools remain at the forefront of the technology landscape. Dan is also a talented cricketer, and a member of the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club, which we have been proud to sponsor since 2020. Make sure you say hello to Dan next time you visit our office! 👋

Congratulations to our brilliant Associate, Jessica Mollica, as she celebrates her 2-year McQueen anniversary.   Since she joined our team in 2022, Jess has been an integral part of our wealth team and has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to her role and keen attention to detail, ensuring every client interaction is handled with precision and care.   We are so excited for Jess as she enters her professional year and takes the next step in her journey towards becoming a Financial Adviser.   Well done Jess, and we can't wait to see you continue to excel! 🙌

The McQueen Team were treated to a very special visit this morning, with Old Scotch Football Club Cardinals player and Best On Ground performer on Grand Final Day, Ryan Valentine, popping into McQueen HQ to say hello. It was wonderful to meet Ryan and we couldn't think of a better example of the incredible work the club and the community play in creating an inspirational environment for the development of young people. The team enjoyed a photoshoot with Ryan and, of course, the Premiership Cup! Once again, we are immensely proud of the achievements of both the Cardinals and the Stars, and we are honoured to share in the celebrations with the players and the community, and to continue our support as Premier Partner. 🏆

Last Thursday evening the McQueen Team attended the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club Season Launch. Pictured below are our Founder, Angus McQueen and our CEO Nowaki McQueen-Tokita with Club Presidents Mark Graven and Tim Nelson. It was a fantastic evening, featuring a brilliant and engaging session with David Culbert OLY and an address from team Captain Shorye Chopra. We are looking forward to a wonderful season to come and we are proud to continue our partnership with the club, which we have supported since 2020. 🏏

The McQueen Team were absolutely thrilled to share in the celebrations over the weekend as the Old Scotch Football Club Cardinals triumphed in the VAFA grand final! Pictured below are our Founder, Angus McQueen, and our Adviser Henry Dick, proudly sharing in the celebrations on the day. This was an incredibly special win 46 years in the making, with OSFC winning its first flag since 1978 in a VAFA Premier Men's Grand Final! The win capped off a sensational fortnight for the club, with a stand-out performance the week prior by the Old Scotch Stars, who won their first premiership in A grade - what an achievement! As premier partner of the club since 2017, we couldn't be prouder of this monumental achievement, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the OSFC players and community. Supporting our community is one of the key pillars of daily life at McQueen, and we are extremely passionate about OSFC's dedication to creating an inspirational environment for the development of young people. We can't wait for next season! 🙌

We are thrilled to welcome this week our newest McQueen-Er, Andy White. Andy joins us as a Client Service Administrator within our Wealth Team, and has extensive experience in client services and project management. Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Deakin University) and Certificate IIII in Financial Services. Andy is a passionate Hawthorn supporter, and spends his time chasing around his two young daughters, going to see the local footy and ocean swimming. Impressively, he has competed in the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. As is customary for new team members, we asked Andy to share his favourite quote with us: "The most important investment you can make is in yourself" - Warren Buffett. Andy, we look forward to working with you and we are sure great things are to come! 🙌

A very special week at McQueen, as we celebrate not one, but two McQueen Anniversaries. This week marks three years since Wendy Sebire joined us as an integral part of our accounting team. From day one, Wendy has demonstrated an extremely high level of dedication to her work, and her level of industry knowledge is second to none. Wendy is incredibly passionate about helping our clients achieve the best outcomes, and we consistently receive glowing feedback from clients around their interactions with Wendy. Wendy is recognised around the office for her caring, generous nature and her ability to think outside the box. Thank you for everything Wendy, and the team look forward to working with you for many years to come! Two years ago this week, Gregory Kendall became part of the McQueen Wealth Team as an Associate. Over the past two years, Greg has worked incredibly hard and has consistently provided an outstanding level of service to our clients. Greg is never too busy to share his knowledge, and is always the first to offer to help around the office when needed. Greg has patiently and meticulously mentored several team members during his tenure so far. Greg is an invaluable member of the team and you can always count on him to lift the office spirit with his contagious laugh and positive energy. Congratulations Greg on two wonderful years! 🙌 🙌

What a brilliant evening the McQueen team enjoyed last Friday, as we attended the Old Scotch Football Club Hall Of Fame dinner at the magnificent Melbourne Cricket Ground. It was a wonderful celebration and acknowledgement of the history of the football club community that we have been proud to be a part of over the past seven years. We look forward to continuing to support the club's incredible work both on and off the field.

Yesterday our team had the pleasure of attending the Old Scotch Collegians' Association Business Networking Breakfast at Zinc at Fed Square. Attendees enjoyed a lively and informative panel discussion led by Matt Guthridge, featuring panellists Nick Griffin and Clark Kirby. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our team to interact with high-performing professionals across a wide array of fields, and learn more about global factors and trends influencing the world of business today.
