Sobre nosotros
LOEWE is one of the world's major luxury houses. With over 170 years of history, today it is defined by the modernity of its past, an unwavering confidence in the present, and a firm look forward. Craftsmanship, progress and unequalled expertise with leather, LOEWE’s founding pillars, are reconfigured with a timely awareness evident in desirable and functional products across multiple categories, including ready-to-wear, accessories, home and lifestyle. Spain is where LOEWE was born and remains the brand’s home. While its current landscape contains elements from places near and far and the Spanish legacy is expressed in modern ways, the heart of LOEWE still beats in Madrid, where all of its world-renowned leather goods continue to be manufactured. Jonathan Anderson is LOEWE’s creative director. Anderson was born in 1984 in Northern Ireland. After graduating from the London College of Fashion in 2005, he established himself as one of the most acclaimed talents in the industry. Under Anderson, LOEWE started a new chapter, presenting itself to the world more multi-faceted and dynamic than ever. Anderson’s first ready-to-wear collections for LOEWE were presented in 2014. Streamlined, ultrasoft leather accessories are given a playful dynamic in the shapes of animals, and the T Pouch, now a bestseller, is the perfect hand carry accessory. The Puzzle, a completely new bag design by Anderson, his first for the house, adds a novel character to LOEWE´s range of iconic accessories, pairing of-the-moment functionality and aesthetics with ingenious construction and incredible softness.

Our latest store in Valencia, Spain, has opened. Newly located in Plaza de la Reina in the heart of the city, the store spreads over two floors of a listed 1895 building. Pre-existing blue Corinthian pillars blend with LOEWE’s bespoke ceramic tiles. Handmade in Valencia, the tiles create a connection to the city’s local artisans and illustrious history of craftsmanship. A selection of works from LOEWE's international anthology of art, craft, and sculpture includes an untitled painting by American artist Walter Price, and a ceramic work, 'Still able to enjoy the moon while living in a troubled world' (2021), by the South African artist-potter Hilton Nels. A closer look at the costumes of Luca Guadagnino’s QUEER, based on the novel by William S. Burroughs. Jonathan Anderson, the film's costume designer and LOEWE creative director, began with three key ideas. Firstly, pieces had to be sourced from the period, which kick-started an exploration in sentimental value, authenticity, and upcycling. Secondly, the way in which clothes age and decay would be imperative to the identities of the characters. And finally, their wardrobes should be able to be packed into a suitcase–a realist reflection of the characters’ fleeting permanence. #LOEWE

LOEWE’s first store in Istanbul has opened in İstinyePark. A green ceramic façade greets customers, while inside expanses of handcrafted tiles in green, blue, and gold provide a backdrop to collections for women and men. A painting, 'Burning an Illusion' (2023) by London-based artist Christina Kimeze, hangs central in the space, exploring the painters focus on the notions of inner life.
