  • 💧 Leading the way in water industry training 💧 At CHRC, we’re addressing a significant shortage of trained operators in the water industry by recruiting and training local talent to achieve Certificate III in Water Industry Operations. In 2023, 6 local trainees successfully completed the qualification, and in 2024, another 10 are on track to finish by the end of the year! 🙌 This joint initiative between our water utilities and training teams is leading the way across the industry, with council being invited to present at several industry events to share our strategy, learnings, and successes. By providing valuable skills and hands-on experience, our trainees are better equipped to help deliver essential water and wastewater services safely and efficiently to the community. We’re excited to continue developing local talent, supporting our teams, and shaping the future of the water industry. 🌟
