  • 🌍 Value Chain Decarbonisation: Insetting Guidance   We must act now to stay within 1.5°C of global warming and avoid catastrophic climate change by drastically reducing emissions this decade and achieving Net Zero by 2050.   Insetting offers companies in the agriculture, food, and land use sectors a significant opportunity to mitigate climate change within their own value chains.   The recent GHG Protocol guidance positions insetting within the value chain only, requiring certification for all insets.   Key Benefits of Insetting: 🌱 Transparent, verifiable emissions reductions aligned with your climate goals 🌱 Resilience through nature-based solutions like soil carbon sequestration 🌱 Positive climate, environmental, and social impacts demonstrated to customers 🌱 Secure long-term sourcing capacity by supporting supplier adaptation   Understanding the GHG Protocol Guidance ●     Certified reductions/removals within the corporate value chain ●     Inset credits count toward climate targets for contributions/financing ●     "Adjusted scopes" reflect sold inset credits ●     Strict standards ensure environmental integrity   Seize the Opportunity with Carbon Friendly   At Carbon Friendly, we are pioneers in agricultural carbon supply chain accounting and Verra-registered soil carbon projects. We can help you navigate climate-related reporting, offsets, and insetting.   Our Services Include: ●     GHG Assessments: ISO14064 and GHG Protocol aligned ●     Supply Chain Carbon Analysis: Comprehensive reviews, high-impact reductions, and feasibility assessments ●     Project Development & Registration: Robust MRV protocols, third-party validation, and Verra registration   Let's pave the way to a sustainable future together. 🌱   Book an appointment today: info@carbonfriendly.io   #Decarbonisation #Decarbonization #RegenerativeAgriculture #Sustainability #ClimateAction #GHGProtocol #Insetting #NetZero #CarbonFriendly

  • We are proud to be partnering with AKRSP-India, NSFIndia and AGRICULTURE SKILL COUNCIL OF INDIA to deliver the Carbon Farming Practitioner Course to rural small holder farmers in India this week! We hope to empower rural landholders and smallholders to participate in the burgeoning carbon market in India and give them the tools to reap the benefits of improved agricultural land management practices. A special shout out to our Gayathri Rajagopal who travelled all the way from Brisbane to help deliver the training!
