An alignment of occupier and landlord ambitions around ESG is driving the business world to seek out corporate space which offers a ‘holistic approach’ to sustainability, our head of asset management @Jon Cochrane says in his recent interview with @PropertyEU. He explains how our workplace focused strategies have attracted a range of tenants who increasingly see the need to occupy the ‘greenest’ offices – even if their motivation for pursuing ESG credentials is often quite different. With Cora, our £500m brown-to-green workplace impact fund, we are seeing occupiers engage with the impact strategy more than they may have done in the past. Today’s occupiers look far beyond EPC ratings of buildings alone, which they may have seen as a tick-box exercise in the past. To celebrate the launch of The Eversholt in Euston, we teamed up with CROSSOVERS – a vibrant exhibition of works by artists #CarolineDerveaux and #SaraKelly, curated by Nastasia Alberti and Jade French. So many people joined us to experience the art on display and take a tour of this fantastic building, which represents 50,000 sq ft of sustainably refurbished office space - a unique combination of period and contemporary space, with floor-to-ceiling heights in excess of 4m, all just 300m from Euston Station.
