𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗜𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗻?🤔 Hi, I am a passionate Embedded Software Engineer with an MSc in Embedded Systems Engineering from the University of Freiburg. Throughout my academic journey, I collaborated with multiple startups to bring their embedded visions to life, gaining hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and optimizing innovative solutions.🚀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿?🤖 I am thrilled to join bitteiler, a cutting-edge deep-tech spin-off from TU Dresden. Here, I’ll focus on designing and developing firmware for IoT sensors, integrating software with hardware, and crafting innovative IoT architectures to revolutionize how networks handle data sustainably. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿? ✨ Tiny circuits, massive impact! I’m constantly amazed by how embedded systems shape our world. Being part of a team at the forefront of IoT and AI innovation is a dream come true! 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🌟 Outside work, I find joy in dancing, travelling, and cooking delicious & mouthwatering Indian dishes while spreading joy through humour and social connections.

Reflecting on the End of EXIST Phase 1 – What a Ride! 🚀 Last Friday marked a significant milestone for us as we officially wrapped up the 1st phase of our EXIST - Existenzgründungen aus der Wissenschaft research transfer project. This prestigious grant by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action supports highly disruptive ideas fresh out of #research institutions, and what a journey it’s been! The road was filled with growth, challenges, and unforgettable memories. It was emotional, exciting, and yes, sometimes overwhelming, but every step has shaped us into a stronger #team. To celebrate, we couldn’t think of a better place than our #Dresden ’s #Xmas market. (Special thanks to Máté Tömösközi for always finding an excuse to feed us Lángos!) 🎄✨ Of course, we may have gotten a little carried away with Black Friday deals. Let’s just say our shopping cart didn’t hold back. (Right, Máté? 🤫🤫🤫😅) Looking back, applying for the EXIST program was one of our best decisions. For #PhD holders like our #founders, with innovative #deeptech solutions and bold ideas but little experience in the startup world, EXIST offered the perfect opportunity. The program provided guidance, support, and tools to turn our research into something not only real but impactful. We were also incredibly fortunate to have the support of Andrea Schuster, Katja Lehmann, and Martin Hörenz from Projektträger Jülich, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH. This trio was always there for us, patiently answering our questions, helping us navigate the complexities of the process, and facilitating the paperwork that comes w/ these projects. Their expertise and dedication made everything feel manageable, even during challenging times. If you’re starting your #EXIST journey and have the chance to work w/ them, you’re truly in excellent hands. ❤️ It wasn’t always smooth sailing. Like any other #startup, we faced our fair share of challenges, from missing team members to navigating major life events. But through it all, we learned the value of finding the right people and fostering a team culture that respects everyone’s uniqueness. These values kept us moving forward, always. As we close this chapter, we’re thrilled about what’s ahead. Phase 2 promises even bigger opportunities! Also with the StartUpConnect grant from Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, we’re set to make significant strides over the next two years. We’re ready to keep building our product, expanding our team, and challenging the status quo. Our mission remains clear: To reshape the future of IoT sustainably using AI-powered compression. Today is International STEM Day, and it also marks the anniversary of my Ph.D. defence! 🤩 💃 What a perfect coincidence to celebrate #science and all it encompasses! Obtaining this humbling title was one of my biggest dreams, and at times, it was the focal point of my life. To commemorate the journey, I gifted myself a precious ring 💍 🤑 that I wear every day, reminding me of all I overcame along the way. My love for S, T, E, and M started when my mom bought us a few encyclopedias that were imported from Lebanon and took a tiny loan to pay them. Those books were so complicated for me that I was going through them on my free time, contemplating pictures, and saying how can people understand the components of an airplane? What is an engine? how does this really work? 😫 (the name of the #encyclopedia 🤭 ). When I lost hope I decided to use these books and some blank papers my mom used to bring from her high school, in running a company w my siblings, pretending to be a C level. 🤣🤣🤣 After all that's all we had! What an incredible investment my mom made in nurturing curiosity & ambition! ❤️ Let’s make the right #investment too and influence the younger generations w/ the right tools. They definitely have access to everything but often lack guidance. Take a moment to share something exciting about science with a young mind today. As for me, I’ll be calling my niece to explain how the robot dog she saw in our lab works! 🐾🤖 #STEM #PhD #youth
