Seatings, tables, complements and lighting for contract and residential, 100% Made in Italy.

Chi siamo

Beauty, tradition and innovation Pedrali is an Italian company that produces contemporary furniture for contract and residential. The collection is the result of a careful and accurate research aimed to create functional and versatile industrial design products made of metal, plastic materials, wood as well as upholstery. Seatings, tables, complements and lighting exclusively manufactured in Italy through a design process which combines tradition and innovation, engineering excellence and creative brilliance. The “100% Made in Italy” philosophy becomes real through the internal production in the headquarters of Mornico al Serio (Bergamo), where the automated warehouse designed by architect Cino Zucchi is based, and in the wood division in Manzano (Udine). The high quality and respect for the environment represent long-established practices. This is proved by the use of water-based paints, made principally from plant-derived resins, for the wooden products, and by the certifications ISO 9001 for quality management system, ISO 14001 for environmental management system, FSC ™ C114358 for the use of timber from certified forests and Greenguard for low emissions of toxic substances. The experimentation of production technologies, the use of different materials and the cooperation with many designers have allowed Pedrali to achieve important awards such as the Compasso d'Oro ADI for Frida chair. Pedrali is a member of ADI, Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Association for the Industrial Design).

We are pleased to announce that Philía by Odo Fioravanti has been awarded with the Stylepark AG Selected Award 2024, an important recognition that since 2018 honours the best new products of the year.  The collection was awarded by the jury with the following statement: "The stackable outdoor collection “Philía” by Odo Fioravanti brings the Dolce Vita of the 60s to life in a new way. The shape of the tubular steel structure is refreshingly clear, while the extruded PVC fabric with a nylon core is artfully woven horizontally to create a central crossover that guarantees elasticity and strength. A transversal band on the seat and backrest embraces the body and provides further stability. The option of choosing a single color for the frame and weave, or a different natural shade for each, also provides a way to express individuality." Nowadays learning spaces – such as museums, schools, universities, campuses and libraries – are being redesigned with flexibility and functionality in mind, responding to a growing diversity of needs. These spaces are envisioned to be fluid and dynamic, overcoming traditional rigid boundaries and offering an inclusive and versatile environment. Thanks to this approach, each place can host a variety of activities and uses, adapting to the evolving needs that arise at every stage of learning, discovery, and growth.  Particular attention is paid to ergonomics: furniture chosen for these spaces must ensure comfort and wellbeing, adapting perfectly to the users who live them daily. Pedrali collections perfectly meet these needs by fostering interaction between individuals, aiming to make educational spaces suitable for collaboration, while also supporting productivity and efficiency.  Thanks to their contemporary and ergonomic design, Pedrali products fit perfectly into multifunctional educational spaces, such as schools and universities, which include various areas for informal learning or relaxation, often open to the public. Pedrali’s furniture plays a key role in museums, where beauty meets functionality: these environments require furniture that harmoniously integrates with the exhibition pathways, providing both comfort and adaptability for the public.  Beyond schools and museums, Pedrali collections enhance a variety of public spaces dedicated to education, such as auditoriums, pavilions and libraries. #pedrali #pedralispa #education #museum #schools #universities #pavilions #library #design

The Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, founded in 1796 by Giacomo Carrara and recognized as a key institution in Italian art collecting, has enriched itself with a new dimension. Art, nature, taste, and architecture come together in "The PwC Gardens": a 3,000-square-meter green space that surrounds the museum, creating a strikingly pure and immersive environment within Bergamo’s urban fabric. The project features a multilevel park, an outdoor walkway linking various museum spaces to the exterior, and the newly opened Bù Bistrot in Carrara. Designed by architect Antonio Ravalli in collaboration with INOUT architettura for the landscaping, “The PwC Gardens” project revitalizes the historic area adjacent to the museum. The garden’s aesthetic is further enhanced by the contemporary artworks of Stefano Arienti and Sedicente Moradi. Pedrali’s furniture plays a key role in shaping the inviting atmosphere of Bù Bistrot, a space designed for gourmet breaks during or after a museum visit, but it is also open to the public with independent access. The bistro serves as a meeting point where food, art, territory, and hospitality converge, with a creative interpretation of local ingredients that showcases the area’s identity. #pedrali #pedralispa #bubistrot #accademiacarrara #pwc #pwcgardens Fondazione Accademia Carrara

The city of Bergamo celebrates a new chapter of innovation and design with the opening of the Italian campus of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) at the Astino Valley.  Founded in Copenhagen in 2006, CIID is internationally recognised for its innovative educational approach, promoting hands-on learning and multidisciplinary collaboration. The Italian campus is set up as a centre for advanced education, start-up incubation, and research, offering courses to students and professionals worldwide. At the heart of all CIID’s activities is Interaction Design, a practice that combines traditional design disciplines with socio-technological trends, leading to intuitive solutions for products, software and services. Simona Maschi, co-founder and director of the CIID, chose the historic Astino Abbey for the Italian venue, a place rich in history and located in a valley known for its exceptional biodiversity, the monastery’s surroundings received the prestigious “Landscape Award of the Council of Europe” in 2021. The 2,000-square-metre facility includes digital manufacturing workshops, prototyping spaces, and a biodiversity lab where technology and nature converge to foster innovative solutions. Here, Pedrali furnishings provide a functional, welcoming environment suitable for various uses, enhancing creativity and the well-being of those studying and working in the space. #pedrali #ciid #bergamo #design #interactiondesign #industrialdesign #astino
