Hosting the Compasso d'Oro permanent collection and producing temporary design exhibitions displayed in Italy and abroad

Chi siamo

ADI Design Museum in Milan hosts more than 350 design projects that have been awarded by the Compasso d’Oro since its creation in 1954. The museum is dynamic, continuously evolving and aimed at telling the story of Italian design in all its industrial, economic, cultural and social aspects. In addition to a cyclical exhibition featuring the Compasso d’Oro Collection, there are in-depth thematic displays as well as a gallery open to the public free of charge which connects the entrance in via Ceresio to via Bramante. The museum’s design project has seen the involvement of Beppe Finessi as curator of the permanent exhibition, Luca Molinari as curator of spatial relations, Giulio Ceppi in charge of the accessibility program for less able members of the public and Ico Migliore, Mara Servetto and Italo Lupi as the team responsible for the design of the staging and setting up of the permanent collections as well as the brand identity and new logo.
