Declining an offer is a decision made by much consideration, over the years i have felt the best way to do it is by being polite and informing the reasons. It might be a better offer, company reviews or anything else, however when this information is conveyed it should be clubbed with an intent to help improve the recruitment practices of the firm, this way the recruiter shall understand their shortcomings and will get a chance to work on them. To further, keep the bridge open here are few suggestions: 1. Informing the decision as early in the process as possible 2. Referring other people (if possible) 3.
