This year's edition of the Coral Restoration Consortium conference brings together international expertise and diverse perspectives to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: protecting and restoring our coral reefs. Together with our team of scientists, and in collaboration with diverse public and private partners and academia, we continue working to perserve these ecosystems and to secure their long-term survival. It is imperative to develop innovative strategies and technologies for accelerating coral reef restoration, while simultaneously reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing local stressors. #ResponsibleTourism

We are happy to announce the opening of the first Shoco Sanctuary developed in collaboration with Aruba Birdlife Conservation (ABC) and dedicated to protecting and preserving Aruba’s beloved national symbol, the Aruba Burrowing Owl (Shoco). The event was attended by key partners in the project, recognizing the milestone and reaffirming the commitment to the island's biodiversity. Guests, stakeholders & community members explored the sanctuary which aims to offer safer breeding opportunities and enhance the local ecosystem. This sanctuary now hosts 20% of Aruba’s entire Shoco population, making it a cornerstone of the island’s conservation efforts.
