Taking place in #Montpellier, this fair is focused on renewable energies including #floating #offshore #wind, where the #Mediterrean plays an important role. 🌬️ 🌊 📈 This morning, a #roundtable took place with national + regional and public + private offshore wind stakeholders reminded us that #scaling up is a challenge – however the #momentum is there! 🔈This is official now: Oxan Energy is qualified to participate in an offshore wind auction in #Estonia! 🇪🇪 ⚡Thanks to our partner Snow BV, we are happy to announce that we have been qualified to participate in a #floating #offshore #wind #auction. 🌬️ 🌊 The project, called Saare 1 (“islands” in Estonian): -         has a potential capacity of around 900 MW -         has a water depth up to 85 meters -         is located 60 km off the coast of the largest Estonian island, Saaremaa -         has a surface area of 88 km2 🗒️The auction will take place in January. 🙌 We are delighted to welcome on board Valerie Pracca as General Counsel!   🚢 Valerie brings over 15 years of #legal experience to Oxan Energy’s team and has spent most of her career working on onshore and #offshore #industrial #projects. A French qualified #lawyer, she started her career in Anglo-Saxon law firms where she trained in project finance, M&A and real estate. She subsequently held the positions of Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Director for #energy and #logistics companies, providing her with a wide range of experience in several practice areas relevant to the offshore industry.   🌍 Originally from #Germany, Valerie moved to #France in 2000 to study French and international business law. Since then, she has lived and worked in France and spent several years in #SouthAfrica, enriching her international perspective and understanding of different legal landscapes.   👐 Highly motivated by a new challenge in a human-sized company and an exciting sector, Valerie is now eager to contribute to the development of offshore wind energy! 🌬️🌊 #NewTeamMember #OxanTeam #Legal

[Feedback #EVENTS] 🌬️🌊 Offshore Wind Energy Conferences in Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 🔷 Early this week, our team members present at the Portugal Renewable Energy Summit #PRES2024 organised by APREN - Associação Portuguesa de Energias Renováveis appreciated the offshore round table, the business discussions and the presence of the Minister for Environment and Energy, Maria Da Graça Carvalho. It was the occasion for the Portuguese Government to confirm the objective of 2 GW of floating offshore wind by 2030. A call for tender in a 2-stage process should be launched very soon! [📸 1-4] 🔷 Happening today, the III Congreso Eólico Marino #EólicaMarina organised by AEE Asociación Empresarial Eólica gathers 400 professionals from the renewable marine energies.
